My friend shot a pilot for a sitcom.

I'd be curious of your thoughts, it looks to me like its pretty standard fare.
A Cbs comedy more than a fox comedy.

Overall I think it looks pretty well shot.

I would retitle this thread, "My friend shot a sitcom pilot." The way it sounds now, it's like he went postal in an airport for a copy of "The Class" on DVD.

Anyways...

I'd watch a few eps. ;)

Production value looks pretty decent. Was your friend the director, and was the project fully independent?
One of the guys looks like a bloated Tom Hanks.

The word I would use would be "standard." It's not my type of humor though... but I think sitcoms are on their way out the door anway...

But ya, the production value is good, good enough for a pilot at least. But ya... I'm not sold.

Fully independent, the guys themselves put it together, my friend is jim.

They filmed it in a couple of days last August I think. A bunch of it was shot in his apt. and the rest in a bar somewhere else in LA.

"This looks funny as hell! I watched this clip 5 times. I give 'er a 10! A 10!"
