I'm guessing Ben was an offspring of Dharma initiative parents. The fact that they want the boat badly, I think the Others are in another island.

Can't wait what happens next

Thanks for the closure. I think.

Not at all.

I was thinking the same thing last week. At one point she is sitting down at the breakfast table with Henry and then she's being thrown into the cage, with her wrists all cut up. They seemed to just throw that in there out of nowhere.

Maybe they'll do what they did when Kate and Jack went into the hatch in S2 and revisit that breakfast scene again to see if she had a deal thrown her way like Jack did tonight. I'm still wondering if Carl was let out of that cage on purpose to see what Sawyer would do. If so, then I'd think its the controlled part of their experiment and would explain her going in there..

Incorrect. The date of the crash was never confirmed as 2004 until last night. Having that date in place establishes the flashbacks now as part of a timeline, which is a very important vent.

My theory is that it's 2006 off the island, and that's one of the reasons why Penny can't just find the island so easily.

5 pages in and NO ONE mentions Alex being shown? The girl disappears then all of a sudden surfaces and says that Kate's dress was hers?

It must be just me, because I thought this episode was boring. I usually really like Sun/Jin episodes but they are usually all about character moments, etc., instead of moving teh plot forward and in the second episode, when we still don't know what happened to Locke, Eko, and Charlie, plus there's the reveal of the Others Wisteria Lane village, well, we kind of need some plot going on. So that annoyed me that almost nothing happened.

How do the Others know all this stuff about the Losties? Like, how do they know that Sawyer's name is James? (Which, IIRC, Locke knows, too, right?)

Is Paula Malcomson the second cast-member from Deadwood to appear on the show? I'm assuming Kim Dickens was the first...

Day Break looks like something I'll check out.

I think it's mid-November '04 in Penny's world, too.

I think our best way to place Penny is to figure out when the meeting between Jack and Desmond was, or even better, Desmond and Libby.

It looks like Groundhog Day meets Tru Calling.

Can someone refresh my memory. When/Who was Kim Dickens on Lost?!

Remember, Sawyer's a con man. He may have intentionally said that out loud for the Others to hear, only to have another plan in his head that he will do when the time comes.

Sawyer would be the ultimate bad ass if he conned the Others.

The printout back in 'Live Together, Die Alone' that Desmond found said '92204', so it was somewhat confirmed.

Does anyone remember seeing Kiele Sanchez in this episode? I saw her name in the credits, but didn't notice her in the episode.

I did enjoy seeing Buck from Kill Bill Vol. 1.

Maybe in the background working with Sawyer and Kate?

I originally had him pegged as a "plant" put there to see what Sawyer would do, but after Alex asked about him I have my doubts.

And just prior to that, Desmond asked Locke the date the plane crashed and Locke told him "September 22nd, 2004".

Love the episode. Not as good as the premiere for me, even though it was more action-packed. But I like the new direction they're taking Sun, and the Sawyer/Kate scenes were brilliant. Juliet's cool.

So, does anyone think Jin knows about Sun's affair?

At first, I didn't think so, at least not that we know yet. But then I started thinking about it a little more. Jin may know from piecing it all together... His father-in-law called him "son" and said that he was discraced personally which makes Jin also discraced. Sun didn't want him to go and was willing to run away, and the dude had the pearl necklace when he died.

And then the comment that Jin made: "I know you decieved me" could mean more than just Sun and Sayid talking behind his back. Hmmm.

Good episode. Next week looks good, too. I wonder if they're going to have the Jack/Sawyer/Kate/Jin/Sun/Sayid storylines, or drop them altogether. I'm thinking they might drop them or show very little, with so many characters to cover. Oh, well.

Pretty good episode overall. I liked seeing Jin kicking ass.
