Friday Night Lights 10/10 Eyes Wide Open

Much better than last week.. but still clichéd. I hope NBC gives it a chance.
Kyle is the best part of this show. He chews everyone up.

I didn't know it was legal for a hospital to call a non-family member on his cell phone while eating at Applebee's and give out such sensitive information, such as his star Quarterback will never walk again.

agreed better than last week. I'll give it another chance or two.

Did the show skip like a record for anyone else about 5 minutes in? They were discussing the injury on the car stereo and it skipped for about 3 minutes.

I wanted to like this show. I really did. But jeez can they not hold the camera still for even a second? Can we officially retire 16mm 'shaky-cam' as a technique to convey realism yet? I feel like I'm seasick after watching 15 minutes of this thing.

Season pass deleted.

normally I don't really notice that sort of thing....but it got really distracting tonight. especially on the tight shots. ugh.

I was getting bored until the Coach picked up QB-1 from his Granny's and took him out on the field....I was getting excited for the game, then it was over. Boo.

Lyla is a hottie.

Looks like a lot more people abandoned this show from last week that I thought? Is anyone else gonna post? lol

I am loving this show. As already stated, Chandler is great in every scene.

Jason Katims penned last night's episode (creator of Roswell).

i'm liking the show, too. but i agree completely on the shaky camera. tone that down a little bit (it is effective in conveying realism, but they overdo it), and it will be good.

the scene on the football field at night was great. really enjoyed that. and chandler is really doing an amazing job.

I really want to like it but so far Riggins is the only character I find interesting. I found myself checking the clock a lot during this episode.

i saw parts of it and it's not bad. i think i am getting tired of shows about football teams in the south. yelling at players in the rain on the football, seems like a repeat in idea.

i'll give it some more time if i remember the the airing time.

I didn't see the pilot but watched this one and really liked it. Looks like I found my Smith replacement, which of course means this will be cancelled by November. It's got football, angry/cocky/fake religious black guys, slutty white chicks and Connie Britton. What's not to like.

Apparently ratings on this show are not good at all, so I wouldn't be surprised to see it get the axe.

Well there'd be no pyscho high school football fanatics if you set the show in the north. A show about high school hockey (is there even such a thing?) set in Minnesota, on the other hand...
