I think the show is turning a corner as well. Now that the groundwork for some of the back history has been laid in its first 2 rocky episodes, it's starting to pay some dividends in developing the characters.

Loved Nora's reveal that she knew about the affair and Holly all along.
I'm glad the 2 biggest stars on the show are the sisters becasue the I don't really care for any of the brothers storylines so far.

Loved the ending with Sally field jumping into the pool.

Just watched my recording. I also think it's the best episode so far. Each episode has been better than the previous, and I'm really looking forward to each new episode. I still think Ron Rifkin is hiding something else to the family. We shall see......
Hope this show stays for at least a season. I've only tried 2 new shows this season (the other being Heroes) because I'm sick of trying something new and then having the network cancel it without any resolution (which may happen to quite a few shows this season), but Greg Berlanti's name on this thing as executive producer made me watch it. This hasn't been as good as Everwood, but it's still worth my time so far.

This episode was easly the best one of the series so far - all the characters have finally found their footing and the actors are beginning to click together... and like the above poster mentioned all the backstory is firmly establish so now everything can start to flow...
This and MEN IN TREES are my favorite new series of the season (I've already given up SIX DEGREES & RUNAWAY & JERHICO and I'm pretty close to giving up HEROES as well...

Burning Question: In maybe the second or third episode, what did Sarah say EXACTLY to Uncle Saul after she became president? She very calmly but assertively stood up for herself about him not talking to her the way he had. Please help! Thanks so much!
