Help Remembering old show
 

I was wondering if someone could help me...

I'm trying to remember the name of a show that I think may have been on TNN? It was a show where they joked with people in public. Like a guy would be feeding birds and someone in a bird costume would run up to him. Or a police officer would walk down a street past phone booths saying there were reports of squirrels attacking people in phone booths and a minute later 3 people in squirrel costumes would attack a guy in a phone booth...

A friend sent me this picture and it reminded me of the show but I can't remember the name for the life of me.

was the main guy a british guy? i think i remember the show, but am trying to think of the name.

Actually, I think Trigger Happy TV aired on Comedy Central.

It did. It was originally a British show on Channel 4, I believe. The guy who created it refused to do anymore episodes as he had become too well-known in England, but Comedy Central wanted the show, so he came and did some episodes in America.

Was the show called the same thing in the UK?

I'd love to get it on DVD.. :)

yeah, after I posted that I went on amazon's UK site and I see a bunch of DVDs there... but I don't have a region free player so there goes that idea.. :(
