I was actually a little surprised at how much I liked the first ep, although I really can't disagree with any of the criticisms you guys have made. I kinda think that my enjoyment maybe had more to do with my own imagination thinking about what it would really be like if something like that really happened and less to do with the actual show, if that makes any sense. But I liked it enough to give it another couple of weeks to see if it continues to progress.

Sure that works. All except the seeing the mountains part. You can't see the mountains from eastern Colorado either.

only thing i didnt like was skeet having the car accident and then waking up from being "knocked out" from the accident.

Imagination is what one is suppose to use when watching fiction. I agree with what you said 100%. I sat back and watched this without worrying about how far the town may be from Denver and whether or not events which occurred during the show were likely or not. As you say...I will give this show a few chances over the next couple of weeks and go from there as to whether or not I will continue watching the show. The previews for Wednesday's episode definitely showed alot of promise. :)

I really enjoyed this as well, I just wish that the episode descriptions didn't reveal what caused the explosions.

It definitely has the most potential of all of the new shows, IMO.

Really wanted to catch this show from the beginning, but didn't see it - can anyone tell me if there's going to be a replay of the first episode? If not, I'll wait for DVD.

was already replayed last night

It was on the night before you posted.

Loved it.

Will continue to watch as along as the creators keep out Rambaldi Artificats and Mysterious Hatches with secret buttons.

I'm interested enough to keep watching and also think that the blonde should remove all clothing in case it has radiation on it.
