I'm not sure what you're trying to say. The whole Tweener subplot this week was a red herring to make us think that the girl had ratted him out to the authorities.

I was referring to her whole repressed white Utah 'not a Mormon' girl who goes after the 'bad boy' subplot. Nowhere until the drinking binge did we an inkling as to what her real motive was.

Yes, I know that we were all given a red herring, but that became obvious about 1 minute before the truth actually played out.

What I'm saying is that it wasn't bad writing and acting (although the show has plenty of that), it was deliberately played that way.

Gunde 09-12-06 02:04 PM

Ok episode.
Still hating on the Michael-Sarah romance. What a whiner he was in this ep.
For a minute there it was a Michael-Sarah-Mika love triangle -ohbfrank-

Dr. Henry Jones, Jr. 09-12-06 02:07 PM

how did Michael know Sarah's cell #?

It's tattooed on his left buttock. Just in case.

Actually that car chase was pretty stupid/funny. Bellick was RIGHT there in the passneger just smiling, not saying a thing or reacting. He was so close to Linc I thought htey were going to kiss. Plus, why not shoot the tires out? THey had a damn gun!

Whos that guy in the lineup on the board with those crazy eyes? Some con who also escaped? They havent showed shit on him.

Haywire, from the first season. Last night it looked there was an X through his picture, indicating he was dead/captured.

It was a handgun, not a shotgun.

Yeah, but who was the one that looked to see what it was?

Didn't you love the brute force approach of Belleck ! He sees his target, he gets in his car and he rams them off the road !

T Bag whilst smaller than most guys , just his willingness to do whatever it took would make him tough as hell in a streetfight. He got some bruises in the encounter, that was shown as he was driving off.

I do like the format of focusing on 2-3 characters per episode.

Now where is Haywire !

edstein 09-12-06 07:52 PM

Good episode. Still much better than the other crap on TV.

That statement simply doesn't work anymore. It has really become cliché on this forum (no offence), since someone is using it about every show.
While it could be said about some shows a couple of years ago, there's been a lot of damn good tv the last 2-3 years (IMHO).
And Prison Break is a long way down the list of best shows. The writing alone is quite bad (again IMHO)

It is still fun though :)

Ugh, I nearly lost my lunch watching Nika writhe on Bellick like that. Ew ew ew. I was wondering who her alleigance was with though with all the playing she was doing.

PB's pulled the "looks like we're going after someone but really we're going after another person" too much for me to fall for Debra-Jean calling the cops on Tweener.

I don't care how wonderful of an actor the dude who plays T-Bag is, someone needs to put that wanker in the ground. I could barely watch the scene with that little girl by the pool.

Next weeks looks veeeery interesting what with
Spoiler:
the brothers finding T-Bag and Kellerman making it into Sara's house.

Yea a handgun could NEVER take out a tire to that little car...

Same here where is Haywire!

Amen. I felt very uneasy watching that scene.

 exactly

I think a lot of the appreciation for the character is the fact that he's played as a "bad guy" so well. He's not like your typical "bad guy who's secretly not so bad", he's just scum. He didn't run away from the girl's father to avoid having to kill/hurt him, he won the fight and took the car.

It's like how people thought that Gary Oldman's character from The Professional was a good character. The guy was pure evil, and completely nuts, but he was still entertaining to watch, and half the fun is waiting to see exactly how he's going to get exactly what's coming to him.

Personally, I was hoping for a final Abruzzi/T-Bag confrontation, but looks like that's not gonna happen :(

Correct, since it's an impossible shot.

Red Dog 09-13-06 08:46 AM

I love how when they take the car at the end, there isn't a scratch on it.

And I still never understand why the pursuee in such chases never hit the brakes.

IDrinkMolson 09-13-06 09:07 AM

"As the pursuer, you are the God dam hardest pursuee, I ever pursued."

Yeah, "Fantasia's" ass was smokin hot, yo.
Not sure if this was answered, but the old guy Fichtner keeps looking at is the one that got away and is still on the loose.

Stormare's death scene was a ripoff. His body's getting riddled with bullets, and all we see is a close-up of his face?
