I guess even HBO needs to take a break from their usually high-quality programming on Labor Day.

I'm torn on this. I really liked Tourgasm and though Dame was funny in Waiting, but I just don't really find Dane Cook all that funny. I'll probably end up checking it out.

Was this his comedy special (stand-up show)? Been waiting awhile for this one.

yep, it was about an hour and a half give or take a few minutes and shot in high def. While there is some repeat material from the cd's, if you're a fan, like me, have at it and laugh your ass off.

Figures...I cancelled HBO on Friday, not knowing this was coming up. Hopefully I can find a download somewhere.

I used to be one of Dane's biggest supporters and told all my friends about him. This was a couple years ago when he first started appearing on Comedy Central and when "Harmful If Swallowed" came out. I love all those appearances and still listen to HiS whenever I need a laugh.

That being said, "Retaliation" never even made me smile. It was painful to listen to him become a caricature of himself. He definitely peaked immediately and has since been nothing but a dissapointment.

Vicious Circle just enforced that opinion.

I can only imagine that his earlier material is much better, because you missed nothing. In fact, after watching (half) of this special, I'm considering cancelling HBO!

Complete waste of time.

He's simply not at all funny!
