iwo jima line and franco and richie's plan were pretty funny.

I thought the writing was hitting on all cylinders this episode, several LOL lines, too.

The ending still shocked me even though I saw it coming a mile away. After all, when was the last time they actually showed him at work?

As for the other plot, why couldn't she have given him the phone to make the call himself? Or just dial and not say anything?

That's pretty funny...that's what I was thinking, too. Great episode. I agree, the Iwo Jima line was a classic!

This season just keeps getting better. The ending was great. There were some amazing lines. The "semi-nun" bit with Tommy asking if she was in the nun national guard and the Bride of Christ one weekend a month had me in tears. Lou mentioning he had 100 pound on Christ and no holes in his hands was priceless. Maggie going off in the church and them being kicked out was perfect for those characters. Overall this season is building to a really strong finish. It has become without a doubt one of my favorite shows on TV.

Wow what an episode. I was wondering what was up when they were showing the brother at work. (They never do that).
I do hope the chief makes it. I liked him. Damn illegal. Give him the phone before you run off.
Also lots of LOL moments. The Iowa Jima line. The Ditka, I mean Lou vs Jesus conversation.

I hope the Maggie storyline is over. I'm tired of her, although it was pretty funny her going off in church.

Excellent episode last night. As already stated, plenty of great one-liners. Loved the scene with the two old codgers.

Iowa Jine was insta classic.

I vote for the brother dying too. I mean, thinking of major plot points, it makes more sense.

"dickless and dicklesser"

The scene at the house with Lou, Sean, Probie, and Franco talking about the brother was hilarious.

I could not stop laughing at the scene with Lou's uncle and Tommy's dad. And the brother scene at the firehouse was awesome.

So if his brother dies will that put a huge crimp in Sheila's plans? And I am with Lou, she could take care of him, she actually wants to be with him and it gets him away from his crazy ex-wife, plus she is hotter.

All of the great parts already mentioned.

However, how does someone buy a house without seeing it? That's just insane.

I could just sense a tragic-type ending was coming the more the episode went along. There was a lot of funny in the episode, I figured it couldn't end that way.

Anybody else notice Tommy was wired in the cemetary? I was trying to figure out the point of it until it disappeared when he stood up. Guess it was a more modern version of a boom mic in the shot.

Something really bad is going to happen once Sheila sees her new house.

And how could that broad not even have the courtesy to give Jerry the phone!?! WTF???

The new Lou is awesome.

So if Johnny dies, will the "other cop brother" Timo finally reappear? He and the as-of-yet-unnamed second sister never showed up for the funeral of Tommy's son.

So somehow Tommy got the Viagra from Shiela without her telling him about the house?

This show is usually great, but they telegraphed Johnny being shot from the second that set of scenes started. Just seemed so out of place, like you knew something was going to happen.

Yeah, I was wondering if it was going to be a headshot through his side window or what?

Heh, I actually thought at first that Johnnie was staking out the house of the illegal immigrant, the way they edited that.
So, is it confirmed that there will be a death this season?

So did I! I thought they were going to bust her when she ran out the door.

Spoiler:
IMDB has a guest star listed as "Funeral Attendee" for episode 12. Obviously IMDB is not always accurate, but that coupled with the fact that the preview was pretty direct IMO about one of the two dying, I'd say we'll see a funeral for sure.
