What TV Will you Miss the Most???

Me and my friends where talking about this today, and I decided to see what other people thought. The question is: What popular television show thats still on the air and going strong will you miss the most when it ends?

I'm not counting shows that ended this past year, or shows that are already announced their end (like 'The Sopranos')

In that order.

For me, it would be Veronica Mars. I watch a lot of other shows but I have a particular fondness for this one.

A lot of big expectations this year since this is their "make" or "break" year at CW especially being partnered with Gilmore Girls.

CSI is such a habit for me that, if it wasn't on, I would likely be completely lost and take to wandering the streets muttering to myself.

Out of that list, maybe Gilmore girls. I have seen enough of those other shows to last 3 lifetimes.

I voted for The Simpsons, but in hindsight I'll have no reason to go on living when The Shield goes off the air.

It has to be one of the F/X shows: either Rescue Me or Nip/tuck.

From broadcast TV? Boston Legal.

Ditto. That does suck. I wish it at least would've gotten a full 22 episode season before it ended.

I voted for the 'Simpsons' Simply because its been a party of my weekly ritual since I was 2 years old (my brother and I used to watch it every thursday, until he moved out and the show moved to Sundays and then I watched it with my neice), and its pretty much become a staple since I can't remember it never being on the air...

Also, "Gilmore Girls" because its my favorite TV show on television and its the one that I have the most invested into the characters... I was watching 'three moons over milford with a few friends" and they where like 'what would you do if you had a limited time to live' and jokingly my friend said: 'hunt down Amy Sherman-Palladino (the creator) and demand to know the ending of teh show' and I had to agree with her...

Definitely "none of the above" on that list. The only one I'd hesitate on is Gilmore Girls. But, although I'd probably 'miss' it, it's time has clearly come. I'd prefer that they end it sooner rather than later.

Veronica Mars is the show I find myself looking forward to the most. If I had to take a guess I'd say Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip will jump up there once it's on for a few weeks.

Veronica Mars by a wide margin.

I'm still suffering through grief for the loss of 'Buffy', 'Arrested Development' and 'Six Feet Under' though, so I'm not really in an emotionally stable enough place to think clearly.

Its hard to believe some of these shows are still on the air. I think ER should have been off the air a long time ago, I kind of wonder how much more could really be done with survivor, I completely stopped watching it after the vanautu season pissed me off so badly.

I still watch 'ER' but only to drool over Maura Tierney. As long as they promise to put her on another show quickly, I'm happy with them cancelling 'ER.'

Gilmore Girls would have been a good answer previously. The characters seemed so real to me and I felt like I'd really miss them if the show went off the air. I still enjoy the show, but it isn't what it used to be.

I guess my answer would be Big Brother. It's one of the most psychological shows on tv. It also features more strategy than any other tv show ever has. It has it's flaws, but I don't think any other show has ever consumed me as much as BB and I don't even watch the feeds. I watched Tuesday's episode with 4 friends and it was one of the greatest hours of tv I've ever experienced.

She doesn't know the ending of the show. She isn't going to be around this season.

24. I don't watch any of those you listed. Usually by the time a show goes off, though, I'm sick of it so maybe that will happen with 24 too.

While I said L&O, it will forever live on in syndication on TNT.

It's about time Smallville goes off the air. They had a decent thing going, but the direction and writing fell off after season 3. Quality episodes were sporadic after that with more pissing me off than making me happy.

I included THE SHIELD. Solid storytelling, directing and acting, but you know at some point Vic has to go down. And once that happens, it's over.

I would also say any pro-wrestling. And that's just a preference. No matter how bad the product that Vince puts out is, it's always entertaining to some degree. And while this year I haven't marked out and made it must see, if both the WWE and TNA were to go away, I would truly miss it.
