The snubbing of F/X continues.....

Very disappointed to not see Zach Braff nominated for Best Actor. I'm really hoping John McGinley gets a nod for Best Supporting Actor because he was incredible this season on Scrubs.
Also, I've watched Two and Half Men a few times and I don't seem to get what's so great about it. |
This new system they have really worked. Not sure whether for the good or bad. No SFU? Please!
No Lost. No. Desp Housewives (or the actresses). Both a good thing. House, but no Laurie. No Falco or Gandolfini. Thank God. They did nothing in this "just okay" season. The show didn't deserve a nod either. |
Kristen Bell and Veronica Mars are still absent.
|
The nominees for Best Actress in a comedy are a joke
|
Also that new Emmy voting system sure worked...

Lisa Kudrow *should* run away with the Best Actress in a Comedy category. Anytime you punch someone and make them vomit you should get an award.

No Shield = no sale

Nothing for the Shield??

No Deadwood nominees? Where's the nod for Ian McShane?

Wow, no LOST this year. I'm a big fan of 24 and the West Wing, but they don't hold a candle to LOST.
Also, good to see Jeremy Piven up there, but still no Johnny C. from Scrubs. I wonder if he's ever gonna get a shot? Also, how the hell does 2.5 Men beat out Entourage for best Comedy. Entourage 2nd season was one of the best comedy seasons I've seen in a while. Glad Scrubs is up there though. |

Deadwood wasn't eligible this year. --- The new rules are that ten series (comedy and drama) are selected by popular vote. Also, in the four lead categories fifteen actors are selected by popular vote. Those "pre-nominees" give their/its best tape to a selected panel that judges the tape. The top five highest vote getters are the five final nominees. Before it was just a popular vote to get top five in categories. |
NO Shield???!
NO Deadwood???! what...the...? |
Kevin James nominated for KoQ! That's odd, why nominate him now when he's been doing the same thing for the past 6 or 7 seasons? He was no better this year than any other.
Jamie Pressly - and  Gregory Itzin & Jean Smart -  |
How was Deadwood not eligible? It was nominated last year.
|
Deadwood didn't air any episodes during this years eligibility dates: June 1st 2005 - May 31st 2006.

Trying to get to the full noms list to link it, but the emmy site must be swamped. if anybody gets a link before I do, post it if you can.

Replace all the 2 1/2 Men BS with My Name is Earl or Entourage people and I'd be happy. :grumble:
I would've liked to see one of the actors from Lost got a nomination for his supporting role...but there are just too many that they couldn't pick 1, I suppose. And I'll start my bitching for next year already...Ian McShane better be nominated, cocksuckers! |
