Ms. Turbody - If I had teachers like this, I would have enjoyed school more.

Woah. Tommy gets the best of Johnny once again (in a very fucked up way, of course).

Good to see Lou finally have a breakthrough and ask for help.

And they have officially gone off the deep end w/ the Probie's storyline. Sean serves some kind of purpose. The Probie doesn't.

Dust.

This season really isn't doing much for me so far. It almost has that mediocre feel The Job had, with just some Rescue Me "shock" moments thrown in. i don't know... just lacking something the last two had. Hopefully it picks up.

So it was some sort of test, for Johnny to see that she wouldn't tell him, or...? VERY messed up.

It's been a while since I sat there watching something on regular cable TV with my jaw solidly on the floor as Tommy executed a grudge-f* to perfection. Whoa.

"You win." Great epiphany scene for Lou to want to sober up and "get on the right track" again. (Lovely imagery, eh?)

Probie's brokeback scenes just seem odd in a "not the sharpest tool in the shed" sort of way.

tommy is pretty amazing. at first, i was like oh no, he's going to beat her bad and finish her off by raping her then after a while, I was laughing pretty hard. even harder when johnny swooped in to check the hen.

the probie seems to have some of the most odd storylines - from the cheating on the mother/daughter thing to the fat chick to the big vet lady then gay?

glad that lou is coming clean. hope jerry figures out what to do.

The scene with the Probie and his roommate arguing how gay they were had me

The Susan Surandon stuff seems to be nothing more then they got Susan Sarnadon to do a guest spot and they needed something for her to do.

Judging by the previews my guess is
Spoiler:
Johnny will find out about the sex when Tommy and Janet both have chlamydia

Was that Al Sharpton clip from a real event? I can't imagine he'd be willing to play his one-note race card-mongering for a fictional event that clearly wasn't racism.

Have you seen "A History of Violence"? It's sort of the same reaction I had from that movie's scene in the stairwell and the Tommy/Janet scene at the end. Rather distasteful game of oneupsmanship, but I figure if Janet went and got a rape kit done at a hospitial, they'd want to know why there was dust in the semen....

ok, either i missed something or i'm just a moron. Did Tommy have this all planned out? Why'd he call his brother? Why did his brother rush over, was he suppose to catch him in the act? I have no idea what happened during that scene. Did he mean to rape her, and she just enjoyed it?

Just call me confused.

And I'd agree, these last 2 episodes have really been lacking. However, the whole analogy of the bear and the stick had me laugh my ass off.

Tommy knew what bar Johnny was at, so he knew how much time (about 30 minutes) he would have with Janet, and alluded being there with her, and Johnny knew the score from the tone of Tommy's voice, and raced home, but only to find Janet all prim and proper, with nary a hint of what just happened. Tommy went there with the intention of "taking back what was his" (neanderthal-like), and Janet just turned pragmatist in this situation, plus it did look like she was enjoying it after offering a bit of resistance in the beginning. Was it rape, or rough-housing between ex-spouses (or ex-spouses-to-be)? Tough call, but in the end, I go with the latter.

What was the day called - "pyscho chick calling day?"

Nice job, Tommy. She certainly appeared to have enjoyed it.

Spoiler:
Can't wait for next week with the little 'c' discussion and Marisa Tomei.

Have no idea what the deal is with the probie storyline. First Sopranos goes Brokeback, now this.

So has Tommy's brother really been goign around his back since their junior prom? or was that just to piss him off?

Over all I thought this weeks episode was good, but liek others stated earlier the brokeback thing is getting old, and as other threads have been discussing homosexuality is more of a norm these days.

Tommy must have a d*ck that cures cancer. The guy scores with Hot4Teacher, his (ex)wife, Shiela's stil BEGGING for him, oh and he has to drop off samples at the sperm bank also. Hmmm, wonder who the producer of this show is.... I mean Tommy gets all sorts of women begging him and Probie gets Faux Markie Mark, Franco gets The Mummy, Lou gets nothing, and Garrity gets Bride of McEnroe. Sheesh, nepotism is the black man's lobster.

"He's dumb as a box of rocks. And not regualar rocks either, the really stupid ones". I guess that makes Garrity really, really dumb.

I think it was established in one episode from last season that Tommy was literally the biggest hose in that firehouse, even though he let everyone think that Franco's was bigger.
