So I've decided to start watching this show tonight since i can never get in on the ground floor of any good show. Would anyone be willing to give me maybe like a bare bones guide of what i should know, or whats happened? I know I should try to watch past seasons, but if anyone is willing I would be appreciative.

How many minutes in before for we here the first "cocksucker"? I say within the first 5 minutes. I can't wait for this showto begin again, it is such a great show, I hope it does not suffer with Milch trying to get to much in this season since this season is essentially its last. (I am not counting the 2-2 hour final episodes.)

It's interesting how Jane started out as a somewhat irritating main character, but since they scaled back her involvement, nearly every scene she's in is pure gold. On the flipside, they can't use Trixie enough. I love when she starts yelling at Sol, and he barely understands 25% of what she's ranting about.

I thought last season was pretty dull compared to the first, but the end of this episode has me optimistic. The Hearsts sure do have an interesting history.

Joanie was really pissing me off tonight. Why doesn't she just take up with Charlie Udder and call it a day? Jane and Trixie were definitely strong in their limited roles, and Al, as always, makes this show go. "Eggs and bacon. ... Get in the fucking kitchen!"

After one episode, Deadwood already has more momentum than this whole season of the Sopranos did. Whoever nixed the 4th season should be shot and fed to Wu's pigs.

"A piss puddle, must not have seen that when seating myself"
Great start to the season
The sentences Martha was having the kids write down were pretty funny as well
