CTV usually shows it earlier, but tonight because of American Idol, it's actually delayed an hour starting at 10pm...

"Karma" for last week!

Oh, and, I had originally intended the poll to be regarding this episode alone. I guess the 23 that have already voted are set in their opinions, so unless this is a clusterfuck (or one of the greatest season finale in the history of television), I don't see it doing much to change your opinion..

I don't know about that. I liked season one a lot, but was let down by the finale. As for tonight's finale:
Spoiler:
OMG WTF WHOA HOLY SHIT WOW

Indeed.

Thankfully they are aware of this as they talked about how pissed the fans were last year on the offical Lost podcast and that they tried to avoid a repeat this year and feel fans will be much more satisfied with the finale.

Well they're supposed to answer at least:

Spoiler:

Why the plane crashed and what happens when the timer really reaches 0.

BTW, nothing it the spoiler that isn't from the TV ad they keep showing over and over, but just wanted to be safe.

If they give us solid answers, I don't care if they raise other solid questions they plan on answering and can answer in the future.

Pretty much. I've been a huge fan of both seasons, and assuming nothing insanely retarded happens tonight (i.e. Eko and Locke go all "Brokeback Hatch"), I'll be gung-ho for season 3.

Go to ABC's website the next day and you can stream the episode for free.

So, "Reckoning" (on at 8) is a previous episode, and the season finale is on from 9-11 right?

Unless the link is yet to be added (and the links existed in advance for all the other episodes) isn't one of the eps they're streaming.

I am hoping that the preview information is correct and that we will get answers to some of the original questions. I hope I am not setting myself up for a tremendous letdown. Last year's finale was not satisfying, I want to believe this years will be.

I guess I will know in less than three hours. Hurry up 9:00 pm.

Anyone slightly miffed and/or discouraged by the fact that, whatever happens on the show, tomorrow's entertainment headlines are all likely to have this spin: "American Idol beats out Lost in finale ratings"? What a world.

Yeah it's sad, particularly with who is left on Idol, but it's not surprising. I think it all comes down to a majority of people not wanting to think when they sit down to watch TV at night. Same reason Alias - with an amazing first season and a half - never had real good ratings. Oh well, as long as the ratings are good enough to keep it on the air until they finish telling the story they want, I'm ok.

To go along with the American Idol beating Lost in the ratings, Attack of the Show on G4TV just ran a poll of what show you were watching tonight, and 64% said AI.

Oh well, I'll be watching Lost because I've never cared for the competition part of AI.

That figure looks outstanding. There aren't too many figures I collect these days but something made by McFarlane and based on LOST will be mine for sure.

About 75% of the way through the finale. I've been blogging about the finale over at TVGuide blogs, if anyone is interested

Lucky bastard...

I've literally been antsy with anticipation for this episode since I woke up yesterday. It's been a long time since I've been involved enough with a show to feel that.

Not much longer of a wait. I haven't read anything up to this point so I want to stay away from any clues, hints or spoilers.

I'm amazed that right after I posted in this thread the first time I went off to check my mail and the one toy site I get updates from already had the toys up for preorder. Granted the 6 figures and 1 playset will end up costing almost as much as 3 seasons of LOST on DVD but I have time to set aside money between now and the time of release.

Ugh. Tell me about it.

Link for the toys Mr. Master?
