NFL Sunday Ticket price

I see if you order early it's $229 (plus $99 extra for HD) this year. Just out of curiosity, did it go up again or is that the same price as last year?

If you bought the HD package last year, it should only be $50 this year.
I'll have to call to get clarification, but according to the brochure it says you need MPEG 4 equipment this year, which is BS.

I'm not even going to bother with it this year. I got it two years ago for the first time mainly for the Steelers, and we definitly took advantage and watched a lot more games than just them.It seemed like I had family obligations every sunday last year so i wasn' home but maybe 4 Sundays, plus the Steelers had 12 games on local broadcast, so for them I really didn't need it.

I was thinking of getting this just so I could record every game and then watch each one back to back. I'd block out whereever the other scores are posted on the screen. I'd get to, about, Thursday or so when I'd finally finish all the games. Then I realized that I'm still not married and should probably get out more.

I never got that far in the planning to figure that out (or how I'd miss most of the work week). I suppose you could a few dvrs and rig something up, but I was, for the most part, just rambling....

There are many folks getting SuperFan for free, just by calling (myself included).

Hmm. That thread was a little confusing. So, there was an email sent out saying it was free?
What do I need to say, that I saw it was supposed to be free, why am I being charged?

Have you tried the NFL Shortcuts? Those are pretty cool. A whole game within a 1/2 hour. I record everyone of those, then watch one per game since you get each team's recorded.

Post #19 of that thread has the wording of the email. Just tell them you got an email offering Superfan for free. I had to read him the verbage, and he asked me for an offer code a couple times (which there isn't one). Eventually he figured it out. They just put notes on your account so you aren't charged when it comes around.

Here's another thread on the topic (from avsforum)
