American Idol -- Final Two -- 05/23/06 and 05/24/06
 

The two finalists perform before the judges and the TV audience.

Tonight's theme: I'm not sure what the theme is or how many songs each, they will be perfoming tonight but I do know that each of the contestant will be performing one original song. If anybody knows, I will appreciate it if you post it in here.

Pick the person that will be your American Idol on Wednesday night.

The results show starts Wednesday at 8:00/7:00c and its a 2 hr. show.

Guess I'm rooting for Taylor because the guy on Saturday Nite Live does such a great job impersonating him...it cracks me up...("Yaba Daba Soul Patrol!") that I would love to see it go on.

And McPhee...she's an oversinger.

A perfect final! I really don't care who wins, as they have been my two favs since the final 24 were announced. (Kinda like the Rueben/Clay final.)

I'm hoping they both sing well tonight, and they both have successful careers.

Due to my sleep schedule, I won't watch until tomorrow. (I will however read threads that recap everything.) I hope that Katherine sings PERFECTLY, because I would like to see her win and I think she has to knock it out of the park to beat Taylor. I think Taylor will do great tonight, as he is quite polished and consistent. I won't be upset with him winning at all, I just prefer Katherine because I think she has more upside and she's the underdog (in my mind).

If Katharine wants a shot at winning this at all, she'd better whore it up as much as possible.

Neither are good enough to win this, but I will probably be pulling for Kat, I have come to despise Silver Frankenstein and his Soul Patrol schtick.

Forgot this was on tonight. Wonder if the subtitle for AI tonight is "Dont forgot to vote with your penis, America". :)
Now how much longer until big brother, after Lost tomorrow I dont have anything to watch.

I think she did that song better the first time she sang it.

Ugh, I just dont get all that love for that song.

She's got the innocence needed for Somewhere over the Rainbow..as Paula said..she hopes she's inspiration for young girls..

I'm happy to hear after Taylor's 2nd round that the judges are giving honest feedback.

Poor Katherine. She gets saddled with a crappy song, and then proceeds to muck up at the end with off-key singing. Ouch.
