Glad the Hippies won, they deserved it more than the Frats IMO. A pretty great season overall.

How do you figure hte hippies deserve it more than the frat boys? Frat boys only finished out of hte top 2 once the entire show. The hippies hit BOTH non-elimination legs. Hippies followed them the entire season.

Not sure how you can say the hippies deserved it more than the best team to ever be on this show.

TTOW!!!!

That was a great way to add some suspense to the race to the finish. It had to be really difficult with the altitude and the snow on the ground.

Looks like the "Best Racers Curse" still applies to non-Family Edition races. I'm happy that BJ & Tyler won, but I don't like the trend of dominant racers finishing second.

Dang! That was one exciting ending. I had it recorded and had to resist the urge to just fast forward to the end to find out what happened.

I certainly enjoy the races that come down to a challenge at the end rather than the "fast taxi, find this park" endings.

I don't know if the hippies 'deserved' to win (not sure that ANY team 'deserved' to win), but I was rooting for them and loved that they won. I loved their positive attitude, even when they were bringing up the rear.

I was also tired of the complaining from MoJo and the fratboys about how others were playing dirty when those two teams were stooping the lowest - Who cancelled the other teams taxis?

So, the hippies winning - What a great moment. SWEET!

This ended up being the first of the last 3-4 races that didn't have the winner spoiled for me on this board.

Ditto.

I was also very happy with the final challenge. Is this the first time the first team to the final challenge didn't win the race? I can't imagine how disappointed Eric & Jeremy had to be. They got there first, but couldn't get the flags right and then had to watch BJ & Tyler head off for the win.

Exactly. Her personality is great. She's not whinny and bitchy and she has a great sense of humor.

A great body and a cute face also help.

I'm glad the hippies won.

I wish they would have showed the other 2 teams finishing the flag challenge.
For some reason I think they both skipped it once the hippies won.

There were no previews for AR 10.
Anyone hear anything on the next AR ?

I hope this show continues for awhile longer. I've watched every season of this and Survivor and one of those is getting a bit stale to me (it ain't TAR).

I don't recall ever seeing a preview for the Race that starts the fall season after the current one ends in May. I think the times we get previews are for the ones that are in the spring.

The only thing we've heard so far is it's on Sundays at 8/7.

This is my first season, I tried in the past but could not get into it - usually got in mid series and it was too late. I am hooked now, I think I got my wife hooked too after finally hooking her on Survivor this season.

Anyone notice the episode of South Park on last night? Were they trying to send a message?

They are still doing casting for TAR10. There is an open casting call here in Columbia, SC on Saturday that I'm going to. Wish me luck!

Just saw them on the CBS Early Show...they had all the teams, and Phil gave the Hippies their checks. Ray asked Yolanda to marry him (she obviously said yes). One of the hippies had on a king costume. The other had on a white suit. Pretty funny looking.

Thrilled to see the hippies win. They seemed to be the team that enjoyed it the most, but they probably weren't the best team, based on previous finishes.

Finally! 9 seasons of my bitching about the final challenges sucking the life out of the show, and they finally get one right. Great ending and a perfect final challenge. Poor Ray and Yolanda. They got two freebie airport catch-ups and still managed to spend the entire final legs in dead last.

I don't get Ray & Yolanda. Twice they get off the same plane as everyone else and still manage to fall way behind.

Glad the final challenge was actually challenging. Glad the Hippies won. I loved their positive attitude and perseverance.

Seemed like they were so conscious of their poor navagation ability, that they took their time too much. At one point they had good directions, but still stopped at a gas station to confirm. Same thing with the antique shop they stopped at. They were going the right way, but wouldn't believe it.

Then they finally get to use cabs when they get to Denver, and they STILL get lost and wonder around while looking for the clue at the ranch.
