If you stretch the term to include any 'otherworld' shows, then Ghost Whisperer could be considered as well.

I wonder if, based on a combination of viewer complaints and the possibility of cancellation, they started condensing another season or so worth of storyline into the tail end of this season. Maybe plotlines that perhaps were meant to be stretched out over two seasons were sped up and smushed into this season?

I tried to like this show ( I gave it about 10 episodes). But after dealing with the slowness of Lost this season I just couldn't take it anymore.

Damn. Invasion has turned into one of the best shows on TV.

Despite the inane premise, I gave this show a few episodes. It didn't happen. Hopefully something good will replace it.

Yep, the show is amazing now..took half a season to set everything up unfortunately... . It is, as others said, one of the best shows on TV. It has been so fun and great to watch, I can't believe it is now getting the axe...

That being said, I don't know how they can keep going for another season or two...this would have to spread across the country.....

I always saw the previews after watching Lost and week after week I felt like it wasn't moving and I wasn't missing anything. Plus the photography in the show was really annoying. Way too subdued and somber, and not in a good X-Files type of way.

I hope it gets picked up by someone else. It was slow at first but the last half of the season has been awesome.

I wouldn't be surprised if that were true. Viewers were quite vocal about how slow the show was, and then all of a sudden things went into another gear.

Too bad I really liked Invasion but not a sureprise the shows a like get usually canned.

Damn, I stuck with the show all season. It's just very unfortunate the show picked up too late into the season.

Agreed. Probably my favorite new show of the season, or at least second favorite. This is a major bummer.
