I thought the conclusion was excellent and loved the sequence between the hospital doctor and his old female patient. (Can't remember exact lines)

Patient: Doctor both my legs are working
Hospital Doctor: That's Good
Patient: But when I came in I only had one leg
Hospital Doctor: Things are very confusing there's a war on, perhaps you miscounted

The conclusion IMHO was excellent although it is a little obvious that the girl is the kid's mother. My only gripe was I think that the plot for Empty Child / Doctor Dances isn't long enough for two full episodes. probably only justifies around 75 mins (rather than the actual 90). As a result The Doctor Rose and Jack do seem to spend rather a lot of time just being chased with nothing much else happening.

I have to wonder just how many "have never seen season one before" viewers we actually have left to spoil for?

Great pic above. Hadn't seen that before. Good ending to one of the better stories of Series one.
Is anyone still posting here that has not seen the episodes before?

I am watching them new as well, but am smart enough not to go past the first post in these kinds of threads until after I have watched the episode.

Apologies if people were worried about spoilers, but given the thread title I personally think that in a thread to discuss a specific episode its safe to assume people reading it have seen the episode or aren't worried about spoilers.

Being UK based I've currently seen the entire first season of the new series, the xmas special and the second season up to and including episode 5. I would not post any info about those in this thread without use of spoiler wrappers.

I see you're new to the forum. I think you need to familiarize yourself with our rules surrounding spoilers:

But those rules state quite clearly that in threads such as this one it is perfectly permissable to contain episode spoilers. I quote:

A note on "XYZ-Show Date" threads. It's common practice in this forum that thread titles that consist of the show title and it's air date WILL contain spoilers, regardless of a warning in the thread title. Enter at you're own risk!

Typically, untagged spoilers should wait until after the episode actually airs. Considering you might not know the time that would be on the SciFi channel, I would guess that might be a bit difficult.

D'oh! Perhaps I'm the one who needs to read the rules.

But you spoiled a plot point regarding the "kid's mother" in your first post. Granted, the episode aired about a year ago in the UK, which is where you're from, but this thread is about the first US airing on SciFi. And your post was a good few hours before any first time American viewer could actually see the episode.

The moral of this thread: if you're not an American, don't post in these threads. It would probably be better if only Hawaiians posted, come to think of it.

Let's not get worked up over this, folks. We have a special situation here, where the show aired a year ago in other countries, and is airing for the first time now in the US. As such, even though the plotlines and such are "old news" for those who saw the program last year, it may constitute a spoiler for new viewers.

When in doubt, black it out

I thought it, and the first half of the two-parter, were the best ones of the season so far.

I haven't seen these episodes before, BTW.
