Another funny episode, but IMHO as the season's gone on "The Office" has really surpassed this show I think.

I don't care about "not funny as others' because I don't think of this as "you're a comedy, make me laugh, Earl!"

Instead of thinking of it as "a comedy" I think of it as "a show" -- and a good one at that.

At least that's what my Dad used to tell me when I was 10 and asked similar questions. Thanks Dad!
For some reason that reminds me to always leave a note...
George Sr.: We're out of milk. I could have got it earlier if someone would have left a note.
[suddenly he runs down J. Walter Weatherman and his fake arm comes off]
George Sr.: [poorly acting] Why? If someone had left a note, this innocent man would still have his arm! Why?
[the kids scream as Weatherman comes up to them]
J. Walter Weatherman: And that's why you always leave a note.

Damn. I thought I had padded this/set it up properly, but I missed the opening. When I came in, Darnell had picked number one for Earl to do on his list. Can anyone recap how the episode started and led up to that?

Randy was holding Earl's head in the toilet, (giving him a swirly), as payback for Earl doing it to him when they were kids. Earl thanked Darnell for scrubbing the toilet clean first and Darnell said the last guy to have his head in there got some "bat disease." Darnell asked Earl how he picked the item he was going to do next and he said sometimes Karma gives him a sign, other times he just picks them randomly. Randy said he got to pick one, but that he didn't like to play God. Then Darnell asked if he could pick one.

Than Earl said "Sure, go ahead" And Darnell said "I just did. 1."

Or something like that.

Overall not super funny, but it was still good. I'm glad one show on tv shows some restraint. Not EVERY single show on tv needs a cliffhanger.
I had no problem with this. Earl did not name people, he simply gave generic descriptions and we saw who the people thos edescriptions fit were. I don't think he knew where the ticket had been, just that it had passed through many lives before coming back to him.
