7-8pm (6-7pm):
i figured that the NFL playoffs were going to have the biggest ratings. its sad that deal or no deal and americas (un)funniest home videos beat Reba and the simpsons, through the simpsons hasn't been as good as it used to its still better than DOND & AFHV combined. 8-9pm (7-8pm): through i don't watch 24 im glad to see it beat garbage reality shows & 7th heaven. 9-10pm (8-9pm): cold case did great against monster hit 24. 10-11pm (9-10pm): poor rating for crossing jordan, i thought it was an alright season premiere but i bet this is the last season for the show for sure. glad to see without a trace kick ass especially against brother & sisters. |

Yeah, 8 1/2 months since the last CJ episode aired is a long time! Although, when Jill was pregnant during season 3, it was held back until March of the following year and actually became a top 15 show that season.
If CJ's ratings don't improve week 2, I can see a move to a less competitive timeslot. |

Pretty solid numbers for the 3rd and 4th episodes of 24. I think FOX will be ecstatic is 24 stays in the 14-15 million viewer range the entire season.
|
Here's the breakdown of each episode so far. With each new episode, I'll try and post an update to see how it does week to week. Bold highest rated for season thus far.
Episode 1 - 15.13m* Episode 2 - 16.25m* Episode 3 - 15.04m* Episode 4 - 16.33m * - Not in regularly scheduled timeslot. |
That would be awesome if 24 can get those same numbers (16.33 M) when it starts at 9pm next Monday. It's funny how it's doing way better in the 9pm hour with over a million more viewers (maybe a sign of things to come?)
|
Just glancing at numbers everyday, it seems shows that air in the 9pm hour get higher ratings in general, so I guess this might the same case.
What I'll be interested in seeing is how Lost will perform going from 9 to 10 when it returns. I'm skeptical if it can get their audience back fully. Of course, it's almost suicide if they stay where they were going against American Idol... So maybe it's a lose-lose for ABC? |
Golden Globe Awards 19.88m? wow #1 i couldn't watch that bore fest for more than 5min. i always hated these award shows.
i love when these actors make unfunny jokes and all the other actors laugh like its the funniest joke ever! |

And with 16 episodes uninterrupted, who knows what kind of momentum it can pick up? LOST might even be back in the 19-20m range for the season finale, particularly if the stories are good. |

8-9pm (7-8pm):
i know the first ep. of CSI was a repeat but i would have rather seen it #1 then Ugly betty. actually my name is earl and the office should have been #1 at least their funny shows. 9-10pm (8-9pm): i wish Scrubs and 30 rock got better numbers. scrubs "my musical" was a great episode. huge drop from the office to scrubs (damn). CSI was alrite last night, pretty close numbers against my most hated show Greys Anatomy. 10-11pm (9-10pm): good ratings for shark and men in trees. ER didn't do to great but it was a repeat. i like all 3 of these shows so it doesn't matter whos #1 as long as the ratings are all pretty close. |
I bet if they switched Scrubs and 30 Rock with My Name is Earl and the Office the ratings would pretty much switch also. The competition for that timeslot is just too much (Grey's Anatomy and CSI).

I'm glad that Las Vegas is holding up pretty well.
|
8-9pm(7-8pm):
exept for nanny 911 i hate all these shows. i used to like ghost whisperer but its one of the few shows i lost intrest in due to the fact that i would rather hear or see real ghost stories. 9-10pm (8-9pm): glad to see las vegas #1 good to see. i never liked close to home. trading spouses was alrite last nite. 10-11pm (9-10pm): law & order was a repeat last nite. this in my opinion has to be the worst season in the shows history. law & order ci & svu are way better in this franchise. |
I don't post these numbers, but Las Vegas consistently either ties or beats Close to Home in the 18-49 demo, so while those viewership numbers aren't all that impressive, it's still doing decent given its on a Friday night.
