My Name is Earl - 05/04/05 - "BB"

Earl gets a ticket and has to go to court. He meets the courtoom sketch artist and remembers when they were kids he shot her in the ass with a BB, which she still carries around. To cross her off his list, he tries to reconcile her with her alcoholic father.

Who was that woman who played the artist? She seemed familiar.

The show continues its trend of booking Scientologist co-stars with Geoffrey Lewis.

"I heard you had a cavity search, did they find any cavities or do you brush pretty good?"

The courtroom scenes with the hooker were great.

My favorite part of the show in a long time was the intro w/ Joy and the great Crabman.

Miriam Shor - She was on Inside Schwartz. I just saw her in the female lead role in Merrily We Roll Along at the Kennedy Center's Sondheim festival two summers ago.

It was by far the best thing I've ever found in Crabman's hair.

The sight of Randy trying to pull Geoffrey Lewis's pants up was hilarious.

Crabman: Do you really think these pictures will inspire the troops?

Joy: when I go all spread-eagle whitesnake style on the hood it will!

Him saying "If you pull em up, I'll poop in em" didn't hurt either.

An ok episode at best last night. The scenes with the girls father went on way too long and was more annoying then funny.
But...this show gets a pass as Earl usually succeeds in bringing the funny.

I thought this was one of the best yet...

"That poor monkey, all he wanted to do is phone home!" - Randy

"Worms don't fight. They are peace loving animals. They have 5 hearts" - Crabman

"I'd like to resign as counsel for this woman" - Appointed Lawyer

...this was much funnier than last weeks ep...

Next week's super-sized season finale looks pretty good.

I thought last night's episode was pretty good. The drunk father was pretty good, and would make for a decent semi-recurring character.

The lawn chairs on the outdoor carpeting trailing the trailer was a damned funny sight gag if you ask me.

I love Earl but this was an eh episode for me. Some pretty good lines but it's like it's losing it's creativity the last couple of weeks. I expect a great finale though.

I will take off from work that day so I can buy them and watch them twice one normal and once with commentary.

This past episode was just awesome.

She was also Yitzhak in Hedwig and the Angry Inch, which is what my wife and I recognized her from.

I liked this episode alot. Got some hot white-trash Joy action, an "oh snap!" and some funny stuff from Randy and Crabman.
