I must be in a small minority because personally I thought last weeks episode was hilarious.

No, you're a towel

Two weeks in a row with dull episodes. Not a good trend.

The scene with Cartman right in Kyle's face, Kyle waking up, and then the following dialogue reminded me of something that you'd see on Family Guy.

Dull is too much of a compliment. I would say two bombs in a row. Atomic.

The single laugh I got was when Kyle was trying to keep Cartman afloat, and Cartman was mumbling, "Noyouhavetotryandsaveme!" with that weird face.

Towelie: "How spicy would you like your Chang Sauce?"

Customer: "Would you just place our order please?"

Towelie: "Oh man, I have NO idea what's going on..."

Manager: "Is everything okay here?"

Customer: "Fine, except this towel has been mixing Chang Sauce for 15 mintues. He's clueless!"

Towelie: "Don't call ME shoeless! YOU'RE shoeless!"

Customer: "Yeah, well you're a towel."

Towelie: "YOU'RE a towel!"

Manager: "Alright, that's it! Get out of here, you're fired!"

Towelie (pointing at customer): "Yeah!"

Manger: "Not him, YOU!"

Towelie: "Awwwwww..."

While not South Park classiscs, both of the last two episodes still had their laugh out loud moments.

I enjoyed it. Making fun of Gore is always a bonus. The Cartman moments were great.

Horrible episode....two funny parts:

Cartman's bad Kobe Bryant basketball moves on Kyle
and
Once the rocks blocked the exit/entrance, Cartman saying, "Help, Get us out of mauhere" (Cartman's funny accent)

I know the show isn't known for it's storytelling, but this episode seemed to fail miserably in that regard as well. Every time the kids were faced with some huge obstacle (the big climb, Kyle and Cartman sinking) they'd just cut to Gore for a minute or two and then *poof* the kids are through whatever problem they were facing.

Really odd how this series has imploded these last two weeks.

Not sure of the origin, but when I was a kid in the midwest, using "serial" as a synonym for "serious" was VERY common.

I've been in the midwest all my life and have never heard it used in the slightest.

Manbearpig is a metaphor for global warming. Gore claims it's a huge threat and will kill everyone equally. In the case of manbearpig, anyone can see that it doesn't exist (IMO, global warming does. Human interaction is the question) and Gore is just using it for attention. Finally, by "saving" us from manbearpig (global warming), he does more damage.

Also, wasn't it great when he said serial 70 times

Common enough to be in the urban dictionary under two different spellings.

I've seen some episodes that weren't good, but still made me laugh. In the end, I said "eh, not their best effort."

the last two weeks make me hope that Matt and Trey are just trying to be terrible on purpose.

Al Gore has a movie on global warming coming out soon. (you may have noticed the ads on every freaking page of this forum).

Even so, the satire of the past two episodes has been pathetically heavy-handed.

2 crappy shows in a row. I don't blame Matt and Trey, I blame it on Carlos Mencia. The turd of a show that is referred to as Mind of Menica comes right after South Park and I think its lameness is rubbing off on South Park.
