Veronica Mars -- "Look Who's Stalking" -- 04/25/06

"Look Who's Stalking"
Spoiler:
When Gia is convinced she's being stalked, Veronica takes the case despite her dad's orders not to get involved. What she discovers not only shocks both girls, but leads to further questions.

Not on for me again! :grunt: Nor is it on tomorrow. Guess I have to wait until Sunday, I hope.

Gizmo 04-25-06 09:00 PM

Baseball! Hurray!!!!

Why even move the damn show if you can't watch it?
PLEASE let the CW never air any flippin' sports.

Patman 04-25-06 09:02 PM

Me no like heartbroken Veronica.

This season still has me baffled, and with only 2 episodes left, my expectations are so unfocused for the conclusion of this season.

well next week according to tv guide
Spoiler:
Logan will testify at Aaron's trial
and the finale will anwser who caused the bus crash.

Patman 04-25-06 09:16 PM

Well, what I mean is that there's no momentum to season 2 of VM like there was in season 1. There are just too many twists and turns, but it hasn't quite congealed for me this season.

GeoffreyL 04-25-06 09:17 PM

Over all it was a pretty good episode. I still have no idea who caused the bus crash.

joefrog91 04-25-06 09:42 PM

We had a severe thunderstorm warning in my area, so the weatherman kept breaking into the show. I guess I'll be watching this again tomorrow.

I HATED this episode. I hated it like I never hated a Veronica episode before, and there have been a few clunkers this year. I just got a email from a friend I turned on to the show that she is giving it up now that Veronica is just "any other stupid girl with Chlamydia," and I understand her sentiments. They better really pull out a good finale that somehow makes all this worth it.

TheKing 04-26-06 02:32 AM

For those in So Cal, it's on at 1 AM.

It's nice not having to wait til Sunday!

They had to have this in there for a reason and I have a little bit of a guess here, and I will put it in spoilers.

Spoiler:
Could this be as a way to possibly link Woody??? What if the chlamydia went like this:

Woody -> Lucky -> Meg -> Duncan -> Veronica

FantasticVSDoom 04-26-06 07:18 AM

Stupid NBA...I can see if it was baseball or football, but the NB fuckin' A. I would rather watch 2 old fat women talk about puss and cysts than that shit. Oh well, I guess Ill wait until Sunday .

I agree with the comments about Season 2 not geling like Season 1. I am LOVING this season, but as an overall whole, it's all over the place...threads keep popping up out of nowhere that the characters MAKE SIGNIFICANT, when we as audiences have almost zero frame of reference and are left watching and trying to catch up with what is going on with the infinite amount of characters and subplots they are throwing at us.

All those complaints aside, I still love the show and the two scenes between Logan and Veronica last night were incredible. The final scene was a heartbreaker...KB did an EXCELLENT job in that scene...totally an "emmy" clip if they ever decide to take notice of VM.

I really liked this episode alot, and I'm still puzzled as to what exactly is going to happen in the end. Last year, we had a short list of suspects (Logan, Duncan, Aaron, the Kanes), but this year is still wide open. The only thing that turned me off was the overly forced sex scene between Jackie and Wallace that seemed very out of place for VM. They could have left that on the cutting room floor and added in two more minutes of dialogue somewhere else.

riley_dude 04-26-06 11:17 AM

Talk about the chemistry between Veronica and Logan in that end scene. My heart broke. Talk about "Epic."

Yeah Logan has had some great scenes but that was his best one yet.

There are so many different little stories that its hard to keep up. There seems to be tons of loose ends to clear up.

Who was the guy in the picture that Veronica was mailing to people? What is Keith doing with his picture?

How did Veronica get chlamydia? She only slept with Duncan, who only slept with Veronica and Meg. So did Meg sleep with someone else and get chlamydia, then give it to Duncan? If so, is there a chance that the baby is not Duncan's? Maybe this could be a reason for blowing up the bus?

Whats the deal with the baseball player? Does he have any relevance to whats going on at all?

I thought I had missed something. I didn't know who he was either.

Good that Leo was back but I wish he had been given more than one scene.

Patman 04-26-06 02:23 PM

I think there' s a possibility that Woody slept with maintenance guy who slept with Meg...fill in the rest of the chain outlined 2 posts above. Remember that maintenance guy was bailed out by Meg's family.

Sean O'Hara 04-26-06 02:49 PM

How did Veronica get chlamydia? She only slept with Duncan, who only slept with Veronica and Meg.
And possibly a certain money-grubbing, name-changing, double-dealing, cradle-robbing, grifting harpy named Priscilla.

Last year, we had a short list of suspects (Logan, Duncan, Aaron, the Kanes), but this year is still wide open.
We do have a shortlist -- Woody, Big Dick, Kendall, and the Fitzpatricks. I'm betting on the first two working together.

I think they mentioned that he is the man who paid the escort to steal Cliff's briefcase.

joefrog91 04-26-06 08:50 PM

Well, no repeat episode here in Waco. So, I have some questions.

Spoiler:
What did Gia say to Veronica when she confronted her in the parking lot about her dad? What happened when Veronica figured out the janitor was the stalker? How did Keith Mars wind up in jail with the janitor?

Veronica ran back inside after calling her dad and found Gia and Lucky in a room with Lucky showing Gia some of his war stuff including a knife that he's waving around at them. Keith comes running in and tackles him and then Lamb shows up. Keith wants to question him with Lamb but Lamb says no. Keith handcuffs himself to Lucky and throws the key down a drain.

Good episode I thought. The Veronics/Logan scenes were well done.

wmansir 04-27-06 07:26 PM

This episode was mixed for me. I never really got why Veronica fell for Logan so when he was hitting on her at the party I couldn't buy that she was conflicted about hooking back up with him, even though the guy playing Logan did a good job. However, though I don't understand her feelings for Logan, Kristen did an awesome job in the final scene.

My favorite scene was probably Veronica making her "on the Lamb" innuendoes at the party. Least favorite was the embarassingly forced Jackie/Wallace sex scene.

It's funny how earlier in the season I was like "screw these side stories, get back to the main mysteries", but now they have made such a circus out of it that I'm kind of missing the stand alone stories.

LorenzoL 04-28-06 05:38 AM

I liked this episode and can't wait to see how they solve all of the loose ends for the finale.

The last few episodes have renewed my interest for S2 again. Although not as good as the S1 big mystery, the last few episodes have been really strong IMHO.

The last scene of Veronica on the elevator was heartbreaking and I agree that with the previous posts that it was unnecessary for us to see Jackie and Wallace sex scene.
