What I was also left wondering was why Marshal (or is it two L's) didn't phone Ted the second he found out about the faux-prostitute thing.

Barney is legendary

Lots of funny stuff, but it had the ending I was predicting and hoping against. Ah well. Sandy was funny, and all the girls on that show (especially Mary the paralegal) are superhot. So no real downside.

I thought the paralegal looked like Jenny McCarthy (years ago).

So was that some heavy forshadowing that
Spoiler:
Lilly is pregnant?
If so, that would be the worst thing they could possibly do to the show.

BTW, just wild speculation on the above, but thats what it seems like to me.

jeeebus. are they purposely making ted less likeable and more annoying with each passing moment on purpose??

the supporting cast is great. ted is just a putz. and not a loveable putz. the only time i can actually stand him is his interactions with marshall (like putting cutouts on the news guy's face....that was pretty funny).

he's annoying with lily. he's (super) annoying with robyn. he's way annoying with barney (i know he's the ying to barney's yang....heh. i said yang).

why in the hell do his friends even put up with him? he must shit $100 bills or something for these people to even come near him.

I'm still occasionally cracking up about that "I said 'Good day sir'!!" scene. I'm looking forward to doing that sometime.

Pfft. That line's been a running joke on That 70's Show for the last 7 years.

I'll always remember it from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory

And before that, The Simpsons. NewsRadio also used it quite a bit back in the 90's.

I liked that Ted was trying to tell him that he was just waiting for them to talk so he could cut them off with the line, but he still said it anyway.
