Jack Bauer on Leno Tonite! (4/19/06)

YOU'RE RUNNING OUT OF TIME!

The following takes place between 11:30 and 12:30...

dsa_shea 04-19-06 10:12 PM

Will he be in character? Or will it just be the grizzled and tattoed Keifer Sutherland that we know from an Eye for an Eye?

Patman 04-19-06 11:04 PM

So far, it's pretty funny. Jay seems to be really into "24".

Patman 04-19-06 11:15 PM

I did not need to find out that Eva Longoria is a better shot (with firearms) than Keifer Sutherland or Michael Douglas.

Douglas commented on that a few nights ago.

DROP THE GUN!

Actually, that would be 11:35 and 12:35.

Also, the best written show on television? What is Jay smoking?

edstein 04-20-06 07:38 AM

I missed the show. Was Keifer promoting the Sentinel or 24?

Patman 04-20-06 07:42 AM

He was promoting both (plus the "24" video game), but The Sentinel is probably what got him on the show in the first place.

It's also in his FHM interview.

She must have deadly accurate aim.

Snowmaker 04-20-06 09:12 AM

Gravitas.

Doughboy 04-20-06 09:58 AM

I missed this?!

"Damn it! Son of a bitch!"

Phil L. 04-20-06 09:58 AM

Women often make the best natural shooters. They usually don't have any pre-conceived macho notions that a man might have, which can lead to bad habits when first learning to shoot.

I actually really liked "Chloe" from 24 on Leno last week. She seemed like sort of a quirky person in real life.

What you mean is...dammit, dammit, dammit!

The should have added the countdown clock when they went to commercial break.

riley_dude 04-20-06 01:15 PM

Jack Bauer is a character. Keifer Sutherland plays him.

Watch what you say. The only reason you're still conscious is because I don't feel like carrying you.

Doesn't the new feature film The Sentinel have Jack Bauer in it?

He's on a covert op as a Secret Service Agent trying to capture a treasonous agent played by Michael Douglas, right???

And he's running out of time! ;)

Unfortunately, Jack Bauer was accident shot and killed when he and Gil Grissom were playing cowboy, and Aragorn got a little trigger-happy.

But they were actually trying to get President Bartlett's son.

PacMan2006 04-20-06 06:42 PM

So...ummm....how about someone fill us in on what he said about the show? lol

Tazwolff 04-20-06 07:15 PM

I had no idea Leno used Tonite on his show for Fx.

Tscott 04-20-06 10:07 PM

I didn't see this. I was busy watching Letterman interview Rory Gilmore.

Strong agreement.

FYI-in my area they play the Leno shows again the following week at 2 AM EDT. Check your local listings and thank me later. :p

I missed the Kiefer part and tuned in during the blonde's appearance.
For those who saw the show what did you think of the Kristin Chenoweth? I can't quite decide.

But I did love the song by Susanna Hoffs/Matthew Sweet. Bought the cd today.
