Eh....episode. Not that good. Final shot of Libby kinda ruined it. If she had been one of the docs, it would have been a bit better.

Not a ton of progress in the main plot, but an enjoyable episode.
Most interesting things: -Henry saying (in reference to Mr. Friendly, "Him?! He's NOTHING!" So obviously there are higher powers than Mr. Friendly, which isn't a huge surprise, but just to actually hear it was nice. -Henry didn't enter the numbers. I'm sure he's telling the truth. And apparently the sound we heard the first time Locke didn't get the numbers entered in time WAS the magnet powering up. So I think it's safe to assume it pulled the food parachute in. -Libby wasn't a clinical psychologist, she was a nut! Surprised me anyways... |

grrrrrrrrrr... damn storm!!!
lost power as a laughing Dave decided to base jump. By time I got everything back up again, Hurley was slobbin' down Lib. So, what did I miss? |
Thought it was a brilliant episode.
1. Finally made Hurley and interesting character. I'd hated all the other Hurley centered eps. 2. Good twists with Dave. 3. Loved that Dave brought up the island and everything being all in Hurley's mind as he was still in a coma. Great wink at fan theories (while debunking them) again, as that had been a theory I'd heard on the radio and numerout other places. 4. Clocktease is over, finally proof that it does nothing. 5. See where Hurley new Libby from. I wonder if she was really a patient, or if she's really Dr. who works for Dharma and was just "undercover" then scoping out people for the island experiment (if that's what this all is). |

Hmm. Did they ever say how many died? |

I watch the show with my mother, and she is convinced that the producers are just making all of this up as it goes along, and that there is no real plan. |
Thought they said 2 died.
Also, "Henry" made it sound like the "Swan" hatch was a shithole compared to wherever he came from? |

Okay, good. Thanks for the synopsis.

A bit boring with Hurley's backstory except the Libby part at the end. I like the island stuff, especially the Locke and Henry conversation. Next week looks friggin AWESOME!

Will we ever see Michael again?

Hopefully no. He's annoying. |
OK, I think nothing happens with the numbers and execute, but there is no proof yet. You can't belive fake Henry until you see it. For all we know something does happen if they're not entered in time, and maybe he wants Locke not to enter them.
I think the food drop was just scheduled, since the blast doors just came down on their own. Speaking of food drops, I was thinking another one was going to drop on Hurley when he was standing where the other one landed. Pretty good episode. Even though it's a fan theory, I'm a little concerned that this is a way out for the writers. So, until Hurley dies I don't know if I would rule it out. I loved how Hurley went over all of the nicknames Sawyer called him while he was beating him up! Sawyer: "Do you think Sayid needs a job?" |

Crap. The hatch does nothing? Does this mean that the last time Locke didn't push the button in time? Not sure I buy the magnet pulls in food thing. Pulls in food from where?
- Who is this 'he' that they are all afraid of? - Why can't God see the island they are on? |
Am I the only one thinking it might be TOO obvious that the doors closing, the magnet powering up, and the food landing were all related? I think maybe that's just what they want us to think, and like Molson said, "Henry" might have just said he didn't enter the numbers so Locke won't do it sometime.
Otherwise, it seems the only time the #s aren't supposed to be entered is if the hatch is in a lockdown, and that is just at food drop time. So what would the magnet do if it was allowed to fully power up and the people weren't behind the doors? |

Was it just me or did Libby kind of frown when she was leading Hurley away from the cliff?

Spoiler:
As for tonight's episode, I thought the "Dave's not here, man!" twist was totally predictable -- I called it the first time Hurley was in his therapy session, and when they showed everyone ignoring Dave on the basketball court, that confirmed it for me. On the other hand, I didn't see the "Libby as patient" twist coming. |
Maybe this is all in Libby's head.
|
Decent episode. The scene on the cliff was right out of Open Your Eyes(only Hurley didn't jump), but still some pretty cool moments tonight.

I will say though that tonight's episode kinda messed with my mind. Just can't tell what's real, what's not, what's a lie, do the writers really have a logical plan, or are they making this up? Geez, who knows. But I gotta say, if they're making this up as they go along, there's gonna be a lot of real disappointed fans. :) |

I think she may just be frowning because she's lying to him about it, or because she fears that he may remember where he knows her from. I don't necessarily believe that it's because she was an "operative" or anything of the sort. Although, I am more than willing to accept that as a possibility. |
