NBC flips "L&O" and "Heist" time slots starting 4/5
Friday, March 31, 2006 - 9:07 AM NBC Flips 'Heist,' 'Law & Order' Beginning Next Week By Brian Ford Sullivan LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- "Law & Order" is going home. Scheduling updates released this morning confirm NBC is sending "Law & Order" back to its old Wednesday, 10:00/9:00c slot next week, just two weeks into its run at 9:00/8:00c. "Heist" then will slide back from 10:00/9:00c to 9:00/8:00c. The news comes after "Law's" second consecutive fourth place finish in the 9:00/8:00c hour (in both households and adults 18-49), behind ABC's "Lost," CBS's "Criminal Minds" and FOX's duo of "American Idol" and "Unan1mous." "Heist" likewise hasn't fared much better as it has trailed CBS's "C.S.I.: New York" and ABC's "The Evidence" since its premiere two weeks ago. Note the change. |

Guess I won't be watching Heist anymore. I'll have to turn to Thief for my robbery-related programming. |

Nice, I'm glad they're giving L&O it's slot back to help with ratings. I didn't want to see Orbach go, but I've been pleasantly surprised by Dennis Farina. I thought it was an odd choice when I saw the first promo, but he's a great fit.
Too bad Elisabeth Röhm is gone, but at least she came out before she left. :banana: |
