"Boogeyman"

A few years ago Earl (Jason Lee) succeeded in affirming a child's fear of the boogeyman when he broke into the Tollhurst household and hid under their six-year-old's bed to escape getting caught robbing the house. When Earl decides to cross off "made a kid scared of the boogeyman" from his list, he discovers just what kind of lasting affect he had on the little boy. Ever since Earl's surprising visit, the kid has been afraid of the dark. But when Earl begins to take the time and energy to resolve his fear, the boy grows attached to Earl and decides he'd rather live with him than with his indifferent father. The boy soon realizes however, just how much his father actually cares about him and how much he would fight Earl to get him back. Ethan Suplee, Jaime Pressly, Nadine Velazquez, and Eddie Steeples also star.

Sounds heart-warming, in an 'Earl' sort-of way.

If the episode is as funny as the commercial for it, this is going to be a winner.

Did you hear about me and the Cheetoh? It was pretty amazing. I was eating some Cheetohs, and I missed my mouth with one, and it bounced off my chin and onto my shoulder, and then it rolled all the way down my arm and right back into the bag. Everyone at the Crabshack's talking about it.

This had some funny bits but overall I didn't really like it as much as I usually do. Not enough Joy and Crabman maybe...

Other then Joy's line about getting plowed I didn't care for this episode

I liked it. The pretty smoke thing was great.

An okay episode, but things were taken up a notch when CeCe Tsou showed up as that news reporter. What can I say? Been a fan of hers ever since I saw her stint on "Women:Stories of Passion"!

Look earl, pretty smoke - but it makes me sad!? :lol: rotfl :lol:

There were a few good moments but I didn't think it was near as good as the last few have been.

Paraphrasing, but excellent stuff:

Joy: Everything's okay. Mommy's just fighting off the Wolfman again, honey.

Kid: How come there's only one stick of deodorant?
Randy: It's okay, we share one because we're brothers.
Earl: We do?

"Oh, they're snails. I stopped flicking them off around midnight."

I was laughing so hard, I was crying. "But it makes me sad!" rotfl

I liked tonights episode, Randy got most of the laughs, so did joy and crabman. Earl seems to never get the funny liners in this show its always everyone else

So... "Desmond" from "Lost" disappears, ends up on "24."
"Walt" from "Lost" disappears, ends up on "My Name is Earl."

Clearly, the island is a LOT more complicated than we imagined! There's a cross-network conspiracy! :eek:

Anyone think of Jason Lee's role in the movie Dreamcatcher when Earl was talking about being afraid of sitting on the toilet because of sewer gators?

Oh yea!

Gawd that was a terrible movie.

I like balls....filled with paint.

This episode was the funniest. So many places where I was :lol:

I liked the episode. Loved Crabman's doing his usual greeting to Earl on TV.
