2 1/2 Men - Is Alan's chick retarded?
 

I record these shows and watch em when I work out and just saw Mondays episode and Ive seen the girl that plays Alans chick, but did I miss something? Is she suppose to be retarded? This is pretty stupid and instead of laughing I feel like Im watching some dude get his jollies from porking someone very slow.

Of course I havent looked her up on IMDB since I dont know her name so I dont know if she really is slow, but it seems that way with the crooked mouth and weird slur she has. So I mean no offense to anyone.

That's why the situation is so funny, because Alan is having sex with this hot woman who has the mind of a child.
It's really like he's raping her, because she doesn't have the intellectual capacity to actually understand about consent.

One might think that the situation would be that she's just young, hot and stupid.
And the joke would be that Alan is conflicted about dating someone so dumb just because she's sexy, but 2.5 Men is way more cutting edge than that.

In fact, I think the actress really is retarded, and they pay her in candy.

I think April Bowlby is a riot, she hits her mark pitch-perfect most of the time. (Then again, I think I was obsessed with her after seeing her in the commercial for "yasmin").

I dunno, she just plays the "dumb" chick tooo slow or something. I dont think Ive laughed once at her. I guess Im a guy who doesnt get off to that kinda crap/girl.

The proof of this is when she was playing video games with Jake and how bored she was with Alan's "getting to know each other better" conversation in that same episode. Just watched this week's episode, and her body is vewy vewy hawt.

nothing listed on IMDB. i do remember the episode she was in on CSI and what a different character it was. Makes me appreciate how well she played Kandi.

Why would that make her out of the show?

Because of the way Alan so royally screwed up his relationship with her. It's basically the equivalent of how well Charlie screwed things up with Mia. So Kandi is surely gone. :(

Well, it looks like she'll be on the next episode because it features Charlie macking on her mom (played by yummy Gail O'Grady), so it's still good.

Well that does offer some hope. And Gail O'Grady did put a stupid grin on my face when she appeared in the last episode. :up:

Ive already stopped watching the show. Its gotten repetitive and very boring. I roll my eyes more than laugh. Too bad cause it was good at the begening.

This week's episode was arguable one of the best half hour comedy sitcoms episodes i've seen this tv season!

This show has improved heaps since season 1, the chemistry between Alan and Charlie is first rate
