Another good episode. And I don't recall a single instance of preaching.

Is "leading men" the closest we'll get to something about Kirk and Magnum?

Not a bad ep but I hope we're not getting a big Tom Selleck arc. I can take him in small doses, but long term I find him to be annoying. Plus it's less Denny time which is never a good thing.

Thought it was a good episode but the dispute over the erotic collection seemed so weird though I don't know how divorce settlements work.

"I take the stairs. Elevators are for Democrats."

But come on, Denny is probably the heaviest guy on the show.

Yet another reason why Alan is such a good friend.

Hope Paul comes back!

BTW: What's the location of the scene where Denny and Alan have their end-episode chats? The office lobby or someone's house?

It's a balcony at the office.

Was I the only one who was expecting a twist with the Betty White subplot?

Not to hammer this point home more than I seem to do in EVERY weekly thread, but this one was written by a slew of writers, none of whom had the initials DEK. Could be a coincidence, I suppose...

"Why is the antique steam-powered woman-pleasing machine always in the last place you look?" I loved that it takes a while to heat up, and then it takes some time to cool off.

And I liked that "leading men" line. A telling wink for sure. I'm looking for more Selleck on this show -- he hasn't been this comfortable in a role since Magnum.

Just FYI : If you count recuurent guests Betty White, Tom Selleck and Michael J Fox, this year's cast has won 18 Emmys between them.

Might have had something to do with Tom Selleck being on since he's a Repub and lifetime NRA member.

That would make it an even more expensive series to produce. I doubt they will - the average ratings probably don't justify the expense.
