03/22/06 - South Park - The Return of Chef!
 

The launch of "South Park’s" 10th season is marked by the triumphant homecoming of school chef, Jerome McElroy. "The Return of Chef!," premieres Wednesday, March 22 at 10:00 p.m., only Comedy Central.

The town is jolted out of a case of the doldrums when Chef suddenly reappears. While Stan, Kyle, Kenny and Cartman are thrilled to have their old friend back, they notice that something about chef seems different. When Chef’s strange behavior starts getting him in trouble, the boys pull out all the stops to save him.

I'd find it funny if they just used audio clips from previous episodes, but they make it perfectly obvious what they are doing, with pauses in his speech, different tones and volume in his sentences because they were taken from different recordings, and all of that.

Maybe that's what they do, and they try to figure out what his wrong with him in that sense.

Somehow, I doubt Isaac gets off that easily. I expect them to flog him for a while before killing the character off.

Can't wait for this epsidode. I just hope it is funny.

What if this is all just a big setup? Will they fool us like they did with the 'Who is CartmansMom Part Two'? Hmm...

I think they most certainly like to mess with our heads.

I knew they'd do a Chef episode, I just didn't expect it to be the first one. :lol:

If those pranksters aren't setting us up, this is going to be quite bloody.

I never thought of it as possibly being another April Fools' Day joke.

But it's not close to April 1st. If they wanted to do that, they do it on March 29, I'd think.

Can't wait to see what happens with Chef.

Can someone refresh me...what happened to Chef and what season? They talk about his reappearence...I don't ever remember him leaving...can someone help me out here?

I think it is just a play on the real world situation. Chef hasn't left yet that we've seen in SP. I'm sure all we need to know will be explained in the episode.

That certainly sounds like Isaac to me. I wonder if he came back or if they're just going to "soundboard" him.
