As for the Wayne thingy. How painfully obvious does it have to get that the VP set the damn ambush up? Next week we'll see SS Agent Pierce go on the search for Wayne when he goes AWOL because he got the private call knowing that he is supposed to arrive soon.
It is painfully obvious that the VP probably was the one to set up the ambush, but painfully obvious doesn't always translate into actual events in the land of 24. So I'll reserve being positive about anything until I see it for myself, and even then we sometimes learn that what we saw isn't true.

When all of the guys jumped out of the Ford van to chase Wayne I was fully expecting one of them to yell, "He's been on the show for more than a season! Kill him!"

That does seem to be the criteria for death lately.

I thought I heard Robocop say in the preview something like "Is Palmer taken care of yet?".. so it's probably him and his large corporation goons with their Ford cargo vans and guns rather than the VP. And the Nathanson (sp?) guy said it went higher up and there were more people involved.. so they'd have to be revealed soon.. Audrey could well be one of them.. though I would think maybe an unwilling mole like Spencer was.

I just realized that this is the first time Jack and Curtis have been in the same room since Jack's headlock. Curtis is very forgiving...

That's nothing. Paul Raines took a bullet for Jack last year after being tortured by the dude just a few hours earlier.

Paul was a tool, though. I wouldn't take a bullet for a guy who was nailing my wife.

I guess the new definition of tool is "decent person".

I drink any time someone uses the word "Schematics". Seriously, it's a lot. Here's my impression of Howard Hughes working at CTU : "OK, I'm going to need all the schematics. Show me the schematics. I need to see all the schematics. Show me the schematics. Show me the schematics. Show me all the schematics. Show me the schematics."

And Wayne wouldn't have had to worry about any ravenous cougars or mountain lions in the woods if only those damn judges on American Inventor had green-lighted "The Wand"...
