Was this episode originally supposed to air last week? It was on my TiVO guide for a while, and was even mentioned in the previous issue of Entertainment Weekly?

Doughboy 03-16-06 01:31 PM

Nice! I didn't even realize there was a new episode tonight. The O.C. is getting taped.

Gil Jawetz 03-16-06 02:28 PM

I feel like I read about Take Your Daughters To Work Day on the Office months ago. Highly anticipated episode!

Jobronie 03-16-06 06:26 PM

The only thing I wonder:

just how many folks in the office have daughters?

I PRAY Kevin has a daughter; that could be comedy gold......

Brain Stew 03-16-06 08:34 PM

OMG! Stanley lecturing Ryan

Alien Redrum 03-16-06 08:48 PM

Michaels screen name. rotfl

Patman 03-16-06 08:51 PM

Michael's Username: LittleKidLover :D

Stanley chewing Ryan out was excellent, I couldn't stop laughing after the scene for another 20 seconds.

Mr. Poop

Funny episode.

Doughboy 03-16-06 08:57 PM

Great episode. I laughed out loud at least half a dozen times.

I hope they follow up on the Michael Scott online dating storyline. They did that with David Brent on the original show.

Sekots 03-16-06 09:03 PM

Another great episode from my favorite show. So many funny moments but Michael's user name was the absolute funniest thing. Also I liked how they still had the Jim and Pam storyline in there with Jim saying he's going on a date and Pam having that upset look on her face.

This is the first time I enjoyed 'Earl' more than The Office. It was still a good episode, it's hard to imagine otherwise.

"LittleKidLover" rotfl

I actually had someone tell me one, in dead seriouslness, that if I wanted to meet women, what I should do is hang around school playgrounds and talk to a lot of little kids. Apparently single mothers LOVE that in a guy. Someone should recommend that to Michael. :D

nano 03-16-06 10:17 PM

I just couldn't stop laughing when they showed the puppet's expression when young Michael told him what he wanted to be when he grows up.

"...actually, I better go check."

Patman 03-16-06 10:23 PM

BTW, "Kelly" wrote this episode (I was glad to see her name as the writer at the start of the episode, and she didn't let me down).

Achtung 03-16-06 11:30 PM

Poor Ryan... all the wrong ones are attracted to him.

I kind of wish they had been a little more creative with explaining why Michael tries to make everyone his friend. Something a little more complex than the old "he didn't have friends as a kid".

Liked Dwight chewing out Meredith's kid as well. Thought maybe he could've been nastier, but it satisfied Angela.

Michael Ballack 03-16-06 11:50 PM

Am I just a pervert, or was that blonde hinting to Dwight when she talked about her strict dad that she likes to be spanked?

maingon 03-16-06 11:56 PM

this was probably one of the best episodes yet, loved every minute. so many laughs. loved Michael's Username: LittleKidLover that was so funny, wonder what kind of people that will atract. fantastic episode so many great moments,

Goldberg74 03-17-06 12:01 AM

I actually felt bad for Michael after that clip from the show. :(

Creed: "Wanna see a foot with 4 toes?"

rotfl

Michael: "Am I too old to have kids?.. with..."

Toby: "Not Jan."

Michael: "... not Jan?"

"Apparently 'having fun' with Kelly means getting married and having kids...with me."

I love Ryan and Kelly.

Great episode. Aside from all the funny moments (another highlight was Kevin's "NIIIICE" after finding out Jim had a date) it again shows that Michael has some great qualities. It's good to humanize him.

Also loved Michael calling Dwight "Mr. Poop" too

Jimmy James 03-17-06 12:45 AM

I loved it when Angela looked so happy about Dwigt being mean to the brat.

That whole exchange completely cracked me up.

Nah, she was just hinting that if he wanted to be the father of her children someday, he better lay down the law on that little kid that kept calling him Mr. Poop.

That would be the 12-year-old girl, the clingy co-worker, and Michael.
