Meg's return! That was an excellent episode - interesting that they never actually destroyed the demons in this one, just managed to survive instead. (Btw, how many demons were there, anyway?)

Well, shit. They are moving Supernatural to Thursdays at 8pm CST. I really like this show, but now it will compete against My Name is Earl and The Office.

If this happened more often, I'd agree. But right now, there are only 1 or 2 shows that I miss because they are on at the same time as something else I record. If I'm home and remember, I'll watch one and record another. But right now, I can't justify replacing the new standalone TiVo I got just last summer.

WB executives "hay, this show is doing pretty good, let's put it up against The Office and The O.C. to see if we can kill it"

Hopefully they're going to continue with the encores on Sundays.

This move to Thursdays really sucks. That's my fullest night of the week. On the other hand, I have a dual tuner DirecTiVo. So as long as no one messes with their schedule, I think I can squeeze it all in. But if Survivor moves to 9 for some reason, I'm screwed.

to the excellent episode.

to the move to Thursdays. Now, every show I watch is on that night: this, Earl, Office, Smallville and Survivor. I already skip Smallville because I know I'll catch up on dvd. I might be doing the same with Supernatural as that's the only one of the rest of the bunch that I'd consider picking up on dvd.

I'm with ya. What really sucks is that, yeah, I could just DVR these shows and watch them that way. But now that I have an HDTV, I like watching all three live in HD, instead of in SD from my DVR. Now I'll have to chose which of either Earl/The Office or Supernatural gets the glorious HD viewing, and which I'll have to suffer watching the SD version.

(I do need to to check, though, if the Supernatural rebroadcast is still happening in my area.)

Stupid Thursday move.

I have three shows at that time (with CSI).

Good episode this week, I like how the overall storyline is moving ahead at a nice pace. I didn't expect to have the brothers find their father at all this season.

I thought it was good as well. Glad Meg didn't die as they need an arc with an antagonist on the show.

I saw a few episodes of this and enjoyed them. With the move, I'll probably never watch it again.

I have read that when UPN and WB merge that this show is guaranteed to be one of the few series picked up for the CW.

I, on the other hand, was cheering that it is moving! Tuesdays are booked for me with Scrubs and House. I only watch NBC on Thursday and my WB affilliate doesn't re-run Sunday encores anymore.

Great episode. It is nice that they have established a running arc for the series now that they're pretty sure they're going to be producing more than one season. So no new episodes until 3/30. I guess there are only about 6 left this season (thinking 24 episodes)? TV.com lists only 21 (an odd number) and the synopsis makes it sound like a season finale if ever there was one:

Spoiler:
Salvation - John and the boys set up a trap to capture Meg.

Thursday is one of my busiest DVR days of the week. I record:

Survivor
CSI
Without A Trace
Earl
Smallville
American Idol
That 70's Show(when it returns)
The O.C.

and now Supernatural.

I have 2 dual tuner dvrs and a dvd recorder with an hdd. its getting crazy.
