Why does this sound better than I think it will be?

wearetheborg 02-16-06 04:19 PM

Is this THE cyborg from teen titans ?

riley_dude 02-16-06 04:26 PM

The preview looks horribly campy. Let's hope it is better than the one from two weeks ago with that Female superhero in Metropolis.

wearetheborg 02-16-06 05:14 PM

Why is Scheider still in tha cast ?

riley_dude 02-16-06 05:33 PM

He's a ghost!

He gets paid throught the season. He got laid off but his contract was throught the season. Thats why he still shows up in the credits too.

SuperBatMan 02-16-06 08:03 PM

Lionel knows about Clark.

Ho-lee crap.

TOLEN 02-16-06 08:27 PM

Does anyone else feel dirty everytime Lionel talks to Martha....Jonathan we need ya buddy.

Also, I figured he knew or was going find out. But, was a little shocked with the "Kal-El" line.

Patman 02-16-06 10:28 PM

Actually the look on Lana's face when Clark and Chloe gave each other a look when they were talking about Victor worried about his girlfriend accepting him for what he was produced a chuckled out of me.

Lex is pretty much full-bore duplicitous nowadays. I still also laugh each and everytime Clark just barges into Lex's lair. I'm sure it's part of a drinking game somewhere when it comes to Clark's entrances.

So, is Lionel truly in Martha and Clark's corner? You just never know with these Luthers, do you?

edytwinky 02-17-06 12:26 AM

So i'm not much for cussing at the TV unless it's sports but when Lionel pulled out the "Kal-El" name at the end of the ep. I was like "What the f___?!?!" I'm confused on where he stands with the Clarks.

So it'll be pretty interesting.

riley_dude 02-17-06 12:33 AM

Definitely another thrown away episode!!!!

So they used the tired Smallvilole plot device that Luthor Corp was involved. How many experiments do they actually have going on there? That fall back plot idea is right up there with freak of the week.

I like how Smallville colorcodes their Superheros. Ok, so Cyborg wears yellow. Aquaman wore Green colors and Clark wears Reds and Blues. Interesting.
How long until they have Flash, Cyborg, Aquaman, Huntress Girl and Clark team up to bring down Lex?

Iron_Giant 02-17-06 12:36 AM

So, did Lionel pay the guy to send the DVD to Martha and to meet with her later. It did seem that he had the goods on Kal-El on the night Mr Kent had his heart attack.

But Lionel might be for real about wanting to help Martha.

Remember that Lionel did go through a heart change awhile ago and did switch bodies with Clark.

The last few show should turn out to be great, bring it on.

edytwinky 02-17-06 12:45 AM

Crappy episode in general but there were some moments that stuck out.

Iron Giant, remember Clark did save Lionel's life a couple episodes ago. Not sure how much Lionel remembers from the whole "being blind ordeal", being in the asylum, having Jar-El inside him, etc. But it should hopefully make for some good TV if the writers do it right.

I'm waiting for Zod to be released from the Phantom Zone with the other two Krypton criminals and the "JLA" must help Clark defeat them. Boy, is my geekiness coming out or what?

And the odds of that happening on Smallville --The Big Squa-douche!

Orbi-Wan Techno 02-17-06 05:52 AM

The dialogue between Lionel and Clark at the end of the Huntress ep, plus the fact that Clark super-sped to snatch him from falling out the window, I thought, made it pretty clear that Lionel knows pretty much everything.

Chew 02-17-06 06:02 AM

Well, that was a seriously disappointing episode. Other than about two shots, there wasn't much that convinced me that actual was Cyborg. :(

I would love an episode where Aquaman, Flash, Cyborg and even Andrea come to help Clark who is being held someplace, whether it be my Braniac, Zod or some other earthbound group. How cool would that be??

Yeah I thought it was pretty obvious a few seasons ago when they revealed that Lionel wasn't really blind that he had seen Clark in Luthorcorp use his powers that one time to save Martha.

My exact thought about half way through the show. All of them together would be awesome, taking down Jor-el and sending him back into the Zone would make for an exciting 2 part show.

edytwinky 02-17-06 07:03 PM

The Justice League on Smallville?

That would make for a great show. But that's too much good stuff on one episode. That's not how smallville rolls.

He started out wearing a purple and blue thing, then went to a grey t-shirt with a yellow jacket, then just the grey t-shirt, then he went to a green shirt. Not sure where you are coming from.

RocShemp 02-17-06 08:41 PM

As for Lionel knowing the name Kal-El, he was in contact with Dr. Swan. He was even trying to form a partnership with him. I'm sure Swan filled him in.

In fact, I vaguely remember reading that, prior to Christopher Reeve's untimely death, his character was to evolve into a major bad guy for a few seasons. So it makes sense that he would have teamed up with Lionel.

Alls I know is that Lana can't drive for shit...what is that like the 9th car she's totalled? Bitch needs to stay away from the driver's seat.
