Desperate Housewives - "Silly People" - 2/12
"Silly People"
Spoiler:
|
Finally the full story on Caleb.
|
Gabby got her maid!!
|
The pot is a'stirring on Wisteria Lane, but I find myself not caring about the ongoing subplots:
Mike having to setup a meet between Zach and Diedre's dad. What does Felicia get out of it? The Caleb endgame now that Bree knows it all, more or less. Will Bree's daughter find herself in peril because Caleb is again obsessing over one of Matthew's girlfriends? Not sure if any of those question will spark my interest any higher. Gabby getting her own little servant was a bit self-serving, but gotta give them props for the lingerie show. Tom is an idiot. Nuff said. Susan's insurance woes subplot is sadly lacking in...in anything. |
Gabby in lingerie. She and Carlos are definitely the most entertaining characters this season.
I also liked Bree's talk with her daughter. |
The Tom and Lynette storyline was by far the stupidest thing they've ever had on the show. I was half-expecting Joe Rogan to come out and award them $50,000.
|
The scene with Gabby in her bra and panties was the highlight of the episode.
Nothing else that interesting going on. |
I'm glad I wasn't eating dinner while watching this.
I don't know what's more disgusting/unhygenic; a toilet soaked donut or a pound of raw bacon. |
I had to laugh when Bree told her daughter that all she had was her looks.

Agree. Horrible episode. |
Usually watch this in HD (and live), but tonight, I set the ReplayTV to record the SD and took a nap. I suppose i'll get around to it sooner or later.
Or later than sooner. I'm in no rush. Hell, not even the thought of the way overexposed Longoria in lingerie is enough to get me to rush to watch this. |
Horrible. I won't even break it down.
My HDTV feed was out of sync with the audio by at least a second. Had to watch in standard def ... and that was the highlight of the episode. |
wow. this show hit new lows last night.. horrible episode, and the previews for next week have me not wanting to tune in at all..
|
I agree about Tom and Lynette; that story was something that belonged in a straight to video comedy, and a low brow one at that.
|
Susan and her ex getting married just to have insurance coverage, anyone ever heard of "pre-existing conditions"? Then they have to lie to Edie. :brickwl2:
What is up with this show? |
Yep this show is getting silly now.
|
Guess I won't bother buying this episode on iTunes (was at a b-ball game and missed it).

What is up with this show? Her marrying someone who is a lawyer for this reason made it even more ridiculous. |

I made a decision not to watch. This show is just such a shadow of it's formal self. My roomated watched it and I walked out of the room.

Pre -ex conditions can, and mostly are covered. However, the stretch is that the surgery was already scheduled. |
My wife commented on some of the wardrobe used in teh show, and I was wondering if anyone knew anywhere that listed what the characters wore? Thanks in advance.
