I know - it's crazy!

You could almost say that "Scrubs" was being a bit too conventional.

Zach Braff directs the 100th episode. It's inspired by

And guess what girl's name J.D. is going to have in THIS episode?

Sarah Chalke mentioned this on the TODAY show a few weeks back. He plays an ostrich farmer. Apparently a lot of live animals are coming into play this season according to Chalke.

She never was leaving the show, just the hospital.

I loved the return of JD's "dun dun dun" music during Turkelton's "sad head shake walk-away."

(Also, having Ted's band do a cover of Israel Kamakawiwo'ole "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" was great.)

Loved the episodes tonight. Season is alternating between great and good week to week for me. First week was just ok, second was great, third just ok, and this week great. The ok episodes were still better than other sitcoms though.

Liked the first episode, had a bit more grit overall, even with the whole Wizard of Oz riff going on. Braff continues on his directorial streak.

The best sound effect in the second episode had to be when Jordan's tongue sliding down on the glass prison. It was a little weaker than the first, but Bateman's nonchalance was good for some chuckles.

The first ep's closing sequence was excellent. Nice to see Ted's band again.

I had a good chuckle when Cox left Jordan in her glass box.

If I weren't so tired tonight, I'd stay up and make a transcript of Dr. Cox's "10 seconds of things that'll never happen."

That choir bit was awesome! Loved Cox's 'haleluha' dancing.

@ Kelso with the bobblehead!

Awesome episodes tonight.

Loved the "Wizard of Oz" stuff - I didn't catch the significance of the Janitor painting JDs shoes red until he was leaving the hospital at the end. And the Toto joke was great too.

But most of all, TED'S BAND!!! I'm a huge a cappella music fan so I get giddy every time these guys perform on the show. I love seeing a cappella music prominently featured during prime time.

Ted pouring a glass of water on himself while they sang "Maniac" was a highlight.

The first episode was great; I liked all the references to The Wizard of Oz, especially the transplant patient (Ray Bolger).

Watching the second one now on DVR.

OK finished, the second episode was also very good.

Shoe shopping......

These new episodes are definitely more out there than in previous seasons, but they still work for me.
