No comments? pretty good episode I thought, and It looked absoultely stunning in HD! The opening scene especially.

Goldberg74 01-06-06 08:28 AM

 Great ep.

I felt really sorry for the sister... but was glad that her mother came back.

Loved all the C-listers in the lab barging in on the morgue to catch a photo-op with the "werewolf".

Big Boy Laroux 01-06-06 10:08 AM

good episode. i was always fascinated by this disease when i read the Ripley's books when i was younger. crazy stuff.

MrX 01-07-06 12:00 AM

Good episode. Surprised they were going to have the sister and fiance meet each other at the end.

Whoops, meant to say I was surprised they didn't introduce them to each other.

The Land of the Lost references were great.

Just saw this last night off the DVR. One of the best episodes recently for sure.

Damn though, my wife is too good at predicting the eventual killer in these types of shows. :( Just after the best friend was introduced she announced he would turn up to be the killer because he did not want werewolf guy to marry his sister.

Interesting episode. I didn't know that affliction existed, except from what I learned from Teen Wolf. ;)

One of the better episodes very touching. Thought that the girlfriend did a great job of acting.

costanza187 01-08-06 03:53 PM

Pretty cool episode... maybe they just needed a good waxing.

Just heard on the radio today that Dancing with the Stars beat not only Earl and the Office, but also CSI. What a sad statement of the American populace, or at least the Neilson populace.

According to the ratings on futoncritic, CSI came in first, followed by Earl/office, and Dancing came in 3rd.

And we'd all be thinking of the scene from 40 Year Old Virgin as well.

Just watched last night. Good stuff. I was hoping for a fiance-sister meet as well.

Do you mean the actress who played the sister? Because she gave an incredibly understated performance.

Never believe anything you hear on the radio!

Now on the other hand, the Internet is 100% correct! ;)

A new "CSI," 16.8/25, moved CBS into the lead at 9 p.m. The second hour of "Dancing with the Stars" ticked up to 11.6/17. NBC stayed in third with "Earl," 7.0/10, and "The Office," 5.5/8 -- "Earl" was down some from its season average, "The Office" up a bit. FOX's movie concluded with a 3.2/5. The WB aired a "Beauty and the Geek" repeat, while UPN went with "Eve" and "Cuts."

Actually I think they both did really well. I was also really impressed by the performance of the girl who was the brother of the killer/girlfriend of the deceased. I thought she added a lot of depth and interest to what could have been a throw away role.

Who/what are you talking about?

I'll add my two cents that the actress who played Allison (Leisha Hailey*, Alice on The L Word) did quite well.

Shave her and this is what she looks like:

*She was romantically involved with k.d. lang in the early 90s.

Did SHE play the role of the sister of the murder victim? If so, great performance and didn't recognize her of course! ;)

Yup, that was her under all that fur.

The good thing about that role is she can always come as another character and we'd all be none the wiser.
