I like Seth Green a lot, he's always cracked me up, so I'll give this show a chance. I do worry that it looks like a standard NBC sitcom though (as I've never much cared for those). More of a Scrubs/My Name Is Earl kinda guy.

We'll see.

Yeah, I dig Seth Green but the ads make this show look absolutely execrable.

I will watch and give it a shot. If it is good, then all NBC has to do is move Scrubs to 8pm and cancel Gay and Grace, and it will be the perfect night of comedy.

I'd rather see "Three Kings" a show based on the David O. Russell film.

I'll check this out for Seth Green but my sitcom aversion leaves me wary.

Yet another sitcom featuring nothing but white people.

As a typical American TV viewer, I wouldn't be offended if I actually saw some non white people on TV. These networks types ought to try casting some other nationalities for a change. Turns out there are more than just white people in the world, though I'm not sure anyone has told NBC that.

And I say this AS a white guy.

If that makes a difference.

Apparently you haven't met any multi-ethnic-siamese-twin-doctors in your life.

Laugh track.
* I'm out.

Well, when the laugh track is the first thing that sticks out ..it's not a good sign.

Exactly.. Not sure which is worse: The laugh track or the acting

The opening laundrymat scene was *painful* as was the closing scene of the four guys posing together first as kids then as their current characters.

What occured in between almost had me wishing I was watching an episode of Joey instead... almost.

Doubt I'll be back.

It's a toss up. What was worse.....The acting? Writing? Direction?

I barely made it past the first minute if that. I have to say, though I am not surprised, that NBC would miss an opportunity to put Scrubs into this slot and bring back the glory of must see tv. I realize it would leave a void on Tuesdays but how about doing what they do with their dramas and doing something like "My Name is Earl: Muskogee"

They should have given that slot to Scrubs so that it could lead right into Earl, or are they going to be showing 2 new Scrubs every week?

The only way I will ever watch this show again is if the four male leads decide to have group sex.

Well, in my experience, people of certain races tend to hang out more often with people of the same race. I'm not saying this is always how it is, but most of the time that's the case.

So if you're going to cast a group of lifelong friends, and have it be realistic, keeping them the same race is usually a good start. And since a white show would garner more ratings than black, asian, or hispanic, well there ya go.

Would you rather have a token minority, just for the sake of having one there?

All that being said, I don't care what race these guys are...the show sucks.

yeah, this show isn't working, at least two of the four guys need to be replaced and one is Seth Green.

Love Seth Green in small doses but 30 minutes a week of his sarcastic unlikeable 'teenage girl trapped in a 3 foot tall red headed white dude' personality is a dealbreaker. Kinda sad to see him reduced to doing a sitcom anyway. He should stick to indie films. Guess he needs the cash.

I didn't laugh once, oh wait...actually I think I smirked at the chick who said she would hold his dick so he could take a whizz and keep playing guitar....

In fact the most entertaining part of this episode were the girlfriends they were breaking up with who we will presumably never see again.

and what was the whole deal with calling it four kings anyway? Because the dead grandma said their friendship made them four kings???? Kind of a shaky premise to base the title of the series on...

The best part of the show was being able to see Kiele Sanchez's pretty face pop up on another network.

And that ending was awful. Absolutely horrendous.

That was the deal breaker for me way back in May when we first found out NBC picked this one up. I didn't even give it a try.

That show was pathetic. The underwear joke was kinda humorous the first time I saw it on the commercial, but after seeing it over and over...and that being the only thing. I'll pass...

I think the "three episode sample" rule will be in effect for this one, but the pilot starts off with it's first strike.
