I actually read her book (don't know why, I really don't like her that much), but this story is pretty much the biggest story she talked about.

Though I'm sure to fans its already well known, the fact that apparently Olivia isn't her real name is very interesting.

This show is awesome. I never watched it, until around when this thread was started (and I think James Cameron was on there). That was my introduction. Can't believe I never watched it before.

I never understood the infatuation with Munn. I guess she's better than average in the looks department, at least for a nerdy chick, but she always came across as someone who is a real bitch off camera.

Was Munn ever an actual nerdy chick? I never got the feeling that she knew or cared about the nerdy stuff she was talking about. And by the end, it seemed like she was sick of it all. Her final appearances at that convention show were insulting.

Haislip is a true nerd. She reminds me of the old-school TechTV girls. Although these days, she seems a little caught up with the Hollywood life. She's constantly name-dropping on Twitter.

Candace is getting better. I like that she's willing to admit when she's not into something. She comes across as a much more genuine person, unlike Olivia.

Underwood is probably my favorite. She's kinda like a cute little puppy. She seems to love everything. I'm not sure if she's a nerd. But she's so much fun to watch, I don't really care.

definitely agree. I always thought Munn was posing as a 'geek girl' as a stepping stone to something completely different.

My fav has always been Chobot - hot, personable, funny, fantastic in front of the camera, great rapport with Kevin, and about as nerdy as a girl can get.

Haislip or Chobot should have replaced Munn. And Munn was never a geek girl....I remember when she first started and was doing their E3 coverage, she had no clue what games were and it almost felt awkward. Its almost as if they were going for the same thing in Candace. Bad move on G4's part, imo.
