ITMS adds TV content (NBC)

according to macslash ITMS has added NBC content to its video store. i have not had a chance to peruse what they are offering. sorry if this is linked elsewhere -- i did a quick check of TV and tech forums and did not see anything listed.

edit:

NBC -- L&O, surface, the office (current season)
sci fi -- BSG (current season and previous seasons)
USA -- monk s4 and s1

So far Ive downloaded allof The Office...just an awesome show. I'm passing on everything else, especially the Late Night shows. $2 for a 5 minute clip? No thanks. $2 for a 22 minute episode is pushing it enough, but only for The Office.

Yeah, I don't really think they're going to be able to get people to cooperate with some sort of $2 flat rate pricing for things no matter if they're 5 minutes or 44 minutes. I'd think short clips should be $1, sitcom-length video should be maybe $1.50, and full hour shows should be $2.

First half of S2 of BSG is $19.99.
Miniseries - 4 episodes - $15.99.
BSG Season 1: $25.87 for 13 episodes.

Maybe worth if you just want a couple episodes or can't buy the dvds now.

I'm glad more shows are being offered, but I've got to agree that the pricing is screwey, IMO. The hour long Conan and Triumph specials are $10, yet 3 episodes of a 22 minute sitcom are $6.

I may buy an episode or two of "The Office" just to have something to show off on my iPod. Having Conan's boy band skit is tempting, but not at that price.

Incidentally, I bought my first ever music from iTunes tonight (Blondfire's Christmas EP). It was a red letter day.

That'd be very nice (although I'd much rather have the show on DVD).

Ed was produced by Letterman's Worldwide Pants, so there's probably rights issues there. All the shows on the list are totally owned by NBC and/or Universal.
