I caught a promo for this earlier tonight. I wasn't even expecting the remaining episodes to air, so this is a nice surprise.

Yes, please people! Watch this show! At least give it a chance to be picked up by another network.

Fox is actually going to be paying attention to the ratings it gets in this run. Remember, the show isn't cancelled yet...

Oh yeah "Fuck Fox!" "What's Fox supposes to do if no one is watching?" "Fuck Fox up its stupid ear!" "Fox kept it on for two and a half seasons, chill, yo!"

Did we get that out of the way for the thread already?

i'll just say this - i watched FOX for 6 hours yesterday, and had NO idea this was on tonight until i saw this thread. i do, however, know that there was a Viewer's Choice Family Guy on last night, that someone has Jack Bauer's phone number, and that in January, i can watch real celebrities fall down on ice skates.

i'm sorry, but there's something wrong with that.

i'm really psyched that there's a new ep on tonight though...

As much as Jack stands behind the network, the proof is in the pudding. I've NEVER seen a single AD commercial unless it is the promo right before the episode. I need to set my tivo for that ice skate thing.

As for a new episode:

What exactly are they watching for? It doesn't seem likely to me they would reorder the episodes they cut. Are they considering it for a summer series or something?

This show had the potential to be the next Seinfeld - it's tops among elite comedies such as the aforementioned Seinfeld, not to mention Scrubs, The Office, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Fawlty Towers, etc.

Fox does deserve some credit for sticking with the show as long as they have - it's expensive to make and it doesn't bring in the ratings, but on the other hand, Fox has failed in the advertising department (it doesn't help that they switched nights from Sunday to Monday, leaving even more people lost without advertising the night change). I mean c'mon - you get a superstar like Charlize Theron and you can't properly advertise that!?

But I digress, please watch the show. It might be hard to follow since many of the jokes reference past episodes, but do yourself a favor and rent the DVDs of Season 1 and if you like it enough, buy em!

Those six hours didn't include the simpsons? Cause they had an ad for it during that.

That's not how tv ratings work. Only homes with a special Nielsen Ratings Box give out the ratings.

Almost time now - this could be the beginning of the end, the final stretch.

It's been a good run:
