"Coming Home"
Spoiler:
Lynette tries to put a day-care center in Parcher & Murphy but, first, must convince the boss's neurotic wife, Fran (Penelope Ann Miller), to leave her baby.

Michael Ironside= from me. I know this will have something to do with the Caleb storyline, but this guy is a great character actor.

Just as they finally kill off one annoying character, they make another just as annoying (Bree's son).

Lynette locking herself in the office with the kid

Gabby, Carlos, and the nun is the only interesting story right now.

Can't believe Bree gave Andrew all the ammo he'd need to get out from under his mom's rule over him.

The subplot of Susan and her dad is DOA.

Lynette's subplot to get daycare at work was kinda inert, even with the hostage scene. Then again, it did bring Penelope Ann Miller to the show, though.

With Paul and Mike practicing Mutually Assured Destruction, waiting for one of them to blink, this show has turned into "Desperate House Hubbies".

Would an early parolee like Carlos even be allowed to go outside the country so soon after being released?

Seems to be picking up some. Glad to see Michael Ironside.

Edie had the best line tonight, "I think that about says it all." as she drives cheerily on her way.

As far as i remember, Richter doesn't have alot of luck with bored housewives.

You got that right. He should hang out with Matt from Nip/Tuck and then they could kill each other.
I was bored with the episode.
the whole Gabby storyline is terrivle and Susan, well she's still pathetic.

Great episode tonite!
to Lynette and Gabrielle! Susan wasn't too bad either.
Why oh why did Bree confide her secret to such a rotten punk?!?

Can't wait to find out next month what Ironside's character is up to. And I'm liking more and more the other Canadian native playing Lynette's boss. Currie Graham seems to be pretty busy lately, with both DH and House on his plate.

He had some throwaway line about "Isn't it great my parole officer is being so cool about this?" which just made me

Like I'm sure he would say "Oh you want to leave the country to do charity work? That's okay with me!"

I disagree. Bree's son was annoying long before they ever introduced George.

I missed tonights episode, could you (or somebody) expand on these plots / subplots? And is George really dead?

Always good to see Michael Ironside. The guy he was talking to in the beginning with the long hair looks like the actor who always played the "crazy guy" on Scare Tactics.

I was when the police walked out of the bedroom with the Bree Doll.

For some reason my DirecTivo did NOT record this, and I had to manually start it about 35 minutes in

While Bree could get in trouble for leaving the scene of a crime and some other misdemeanors, I don't think they could get her for murder (AFAIK the law doesn't require someone to intervene to prevent someone from committing suicide), so I don't see that the son has a whole lot to hold over her head. She could simply deny she was there and say the son is lying to get back at her for sending him away. *shrug*

Except for the bellhop -- George had him give Bree a message and call him when she went up the elevtaor. So the bellhop knows she went up to see him and I think this is where she will get into trouble.

He knows she got into the elevator, but can he prove she actually went in there?

I was surprised that she just left the hotel without saying anything. I thought that she was going to wait for him to slip away and then call for help, knowing it was too late.

It would seem she would have been less likely to be caught, if she had just fudged the time rather than fleeing the scene entirely.

And I disagree with your disagreement. Bree's son is not annoying at all, he just can't act.

The bellman probably can't, but I'm sure the police can through fingerprints.

Here's an interesting article about the show and how The Applewhites need a new story.

He's always been mean to Bre and needs to be sent away to attitude adjustment school.

Is there really not going to be another new episode until January 8th? (That's what epguides.com says) Can't believe they're making us wait a month. Loved this episode. And that screen cap up above is hilarious.

Am I the only one that likes the storyline with Bree's son?
