Dane Cook is pretty funny. It will be nice to see an actual comedian on SNL.

That only matters if he gets to write some of his sketches himself. If he's just doing what's handed to him, what's the difference?

Kind of like David Gray/Coldplay

Cook was great on Conan the other night, let's see if he's equally as funny in sketch comedy.

I had never heard of Dane Cook, so I checked out some of his stuff on his web site. It's pretty good, but not great. He reminds me of an amped up Will Ferrell, so maybe tonight has some possibilities.

Oh, who am I kidding. Only if he writes his own material.

The problem with Dane Cook is he's great with his material.

The problem with SNL is that it's a bunch of jerkoffs writing the sketches.

Combine the two and I don't think it's going to end up well. If it doesn't end up well tonight, I am worried that Alec Baldwin won't be even able to save the show next weekend.

Im not expecting to much. Hes a real funny guy, love his stand up, but the writers are just horrible these days.

Im just waiting for Howard Stern to do his sketch on 12-10

Alec Baldwin again? Sadly, he'll never top Canteen Boy with Sandler.

Funniest SNL in years? Dane Cook doing a 90 minute set. The cast backstage hanging themselves.

Well, Dane's monologue was pretty funny. I'll have a hard time looking at a cashew in the same way ever again.

Which ever writer came up with Lettuce should be fired on the spot.
