Isn't this last season getting split into two segments? I could imagine 10 episodes of The Shield, Thief, and then a resumption of The Shield. I could also easily imagine Thief going to Wednesdays.

Maybe. :shrug:

I just figure that they would use the same pattern as when they launched Rescue Me and Over There - both started out as Wednesday night shows.

That's why it's strong evidence to me. Sean looks in the mirror, sees himself, washes his face and when he comes back up, the carver has him. That to me suggests multiple personality. Sean has a strong penchant for powerful visions, just last week with Nikki and her son.

Plus, he was cut on the left side of his face, where a right handed person would make a nice cut on themselves.

I would like to think that it's bobo but Christian seems to have so many enemies. And if it was Sean, I think we would have seen something happen to Julia.

That would eliminate Quentin and any minor male characters such as Bobolit.

They've indicated the Carver is most likely male, fairly tall with a medium build, and loaths Christian, so these might be red herrings. I'm thinking they know a thing or two about sedatives, probably weren't at the wedding, had access to Christian's used condoms, and was possibly in the room during surgery with the Carver victim poser. So all of a sudden I'm thinking Liz is a legitimate candidate.

I think that the going back in time reference is no longer a spoiler -- I think it clearly meant starting over with lipstick to having sex with Abby just like he did with Kimber.

Also, were Christian's tears, after Abby drops off the bag, because he's happy he's found someone to treat as sadistically as possible, or that he's become such a sadist?

I thought it was a reaction to Kimber's letter.

Let's do a "Carver Poll" that's a good idea. Before we make the thread, we need at most nine suspects plus and "other". How does this lineup look. Anybody I should replace with a more viable option?

Saw this posted on another board.

Apparently the show hired an actor other than using someone in the cast to play the Carver, because no one in the cast actually knows who the carver is either. The writers are keeping it a secret from the cast as well as the audience till the very last episode. Kimber (or the actress that plays her) said that there is a bet going around the set to see who can guess who the carver is. They all bet around $100 on this. So basically no one knows but the writers.


How about Sean's daughter since she is probably really messed up because of her family?

I was thinking that if it was her, that would be very possible (like what I said about Sean).

I was thinking it could be her also. She also had access to the sedative that the detective found in Christian's drawer.

BTW, Ava's son is dead now right? I always thought it was him last year, but I thought they found him dead this year.

Yeah, he's dead enough that I believe we got confirmation of them finding his decomposed corpse where they were living.
