Anybody in here see the promo on FX for the upcoming season of The Shield?
Sorry if this is old news but I only saw it myself for the first time last night. It came on during some COPS re-runs.
Anyway, the promo is simply awesome! I was actually in another room when I 'heard' it. I believe a Johnny Cash song is used? (if so, anyone know the name of the song?) So at first I figured it was an ad for the new JC movie. But then I heard at the end where they mentioned the new season of The Shield, so I re-wound it to check it out.
Excellent promo! One of the best I've ever seen, and really gets me stoked for the new season which starts in Jan.

So is it confirmed that this will be The Shield's final season?
As soon as the promo implying that this would be the final season started airing, people at FX or with the show came out saying that it's not necessarily true.
