CSI : A Bullet Runs Through It, Part Two 11-17-05

Can't stand Nick with a mustache... without it... :D

Great ender to last week's episode. What happens to Brass now?

thematahara 11-18-05 02:35 AM

Very good 2 parter.

I was worried that the writers would be able to come up with new and fresh ideas for the show after 5 years, but so far this season has been fantastic.

How come there seems to be so little CSI discussion here? You'd think the most watched show on TV would generate a little more discussion.

I really liked how they humanized Jim at the end of the episode. He did a real good job making himself come off extremely small and humbled.

Great episode. Especially the ending.

Can you imagine having to show up to the wake of the person you accidentally killed and talking to the widow? That was a great closing moment with the wife forgiving him.

He's back to his wise cracking self.

I'm sure that he'll go before the review and things will go okay. I'm kind of glad that it was Brass and not Sophia. Sophia seems like the kind of person (emotionally) that she'd eat her service pistol if it were really her. She's had a hard enough time on the show.

Is anyone else but me mad that they just didn't corner the father of the high schooler that they guy shot him to take his bike? They've known for awhile and all that it would have taken to make him calm down was tell him, but I guess the town meeting was as good of place as any.

 Best episode since the season ender last May.

btw, will some someone tell Grissom that his lost caterpillar is camped out on Nick's upper lip. :D

The Undersherrif specifically stated that he wanted to make sure they had some hard evidence to present to the family before telling him what had happened, and the bullet was still being tested at that time.

Yeah, that was a tough ending and I'm glad they didn't go for the hysterical wife thing (or even worse the slap across the face). I think Brass had mentioned at some point last week he had trained the cop he shot, so I'm sure the guy had mentioned Brass to his wife at some point.

Thos19 11-18-05 11:13 AM

Stupid question: So was the guy who shot the suspect at the beginning of the show, the same guy who was running drugs with the (fake) pregnant woman?

Thos.

Deftones 11-18-05 11:23 AM

No. The guy who shot the kid on the bike was the guy they found in the motel and was shot at the end of last week's episode.

Thos19 11-18-05 11:28 AM

I meant the identity of the sniper who shot that guy they arrested at the motel as they left the building.

Thos.

MrX 11-18-05 11:35 AM

I don't think we know who the sniper was.

This seems like something they'll bring back in the future because we don't know who's running the operation.

I thought it was a good episode as well.

Chauzer 11-25-05 02:13 AM

good episodes, both part 1 and 2
