Woah. That was an ending. It's so ironic that this show draws like 20% of the audience that LOST does -- it also provides like 500% of the excitement.

This episode confused me.

What is up with Meg's family?

Had to laugh at Mama Casablanca unleashing the money ties because she did not need to have Dick and Beave cramp her style.

Kendall and Duncan...hmmm...

What was up with Gia's brother and father?

Same here. The stuff with Gia's parents and her brother was weird.

Why was Lamb sitting outside of Meg's house?

I liked the rest of the episode.

Liked the picture the kid drew of Veronica

Yep. I took his conduct to mean he wasn't going to let the parents off with a court date and social services crawling all over their butts -- he was going to catch them and make them pay.

"Did you ever think about just getting a job?"
"This is my job."

Logan is so jealous of Duncan being with Veronica, he broke The Rule!
Never rat on a bud getting some strange. Of course, who knows if anything really happened.

That was a kind of weird ending. Not sure what to make of it. Lamb could've busted Meg's parents. It seemed like he wanted to. He had the evidence to do so. But he didn't? He's just parked outside their house? I'm a little confused.

I don't think he could catch them without testimony from the girl. Without her, it would just be he-said-she-said, with the accusing side being two people who just broke into the defendant's house.

I thought it was a pretty good resolution to the episode, keeping in style with the series and not turning it into a very special episode.

I'm not sure about that. I'd think he would have been wiser to not find the torture chamber and to keep it on the down low if he were building a case. I think this is about Lamb wanting to see for himself the smallest thing go wrong so he can go in and kick some ass. I think he is trying to intimidate the abusers while waiting to destroy them.

Who would've thought Lamb had it in him? I loved the detached way he escorted Veronica and Duncan off and then just let them go with hardly a word, and then went back and waited outside the house. The song just added to the scene, and it kicked an almighty amount of ass.

How does the show rule so much? It's seriously spoiled me for every other programme ever. I haven't even seen the last two Lost's because my interest in the show has dwindled, but Veronica Mars is watched with barely controlled glee every week.

Seriously, so, so true. Lost is like childs play compared to the complexity of VM.

With VM, it seems like the writers have already mapped out the entire season, with compelling arcs and resolutions, while sometimes I get the idea that Lost is being written on the fly without knowing where it's going. Still hooked on both shows however, and to think I almost skipped the two pilots.

Which is why I continue to watch VM in real time, while relegating Lost to time-shifted viewing.

It was nice to see Lamb as something other than a bad guy, multi-dimensional characters are alwasy more compelling. This show continues to be amazing, so I'm made it my goal to spread the word as much as possible.

Ya think the actors playing the little kids in this ep were really high school seniors?

Does anyone know the song played at the end of this ep? it was awesome, and I want it!

I think you're dead on with that observation. Lost leaves so many loose threads and is constantly creating new ones, I can't imagine there's a coherent story behind it all.

I enjoy both shows about equally though. I actually enjoy the flashback stories in Lost and the island stuff doesn't frustrate me as much since I've stopped expecting them to actually answer questions and explain things. I'd probably enjoy Veronica Mars more, but so far this season, the teeny bopper soap stuff has been somewhat overbearing.

It is "Run", by that phenomonal band known as Air. It's off of their album "Talkie Walkie."

I have to post in support of this show as well. It has just about the perfect amount of give and take between answering questions and introducing new ones.

Anyway care to post any theories on the bus accident? Are we now supposed to be adding Meg's parents and Mahoney as suspsects? I guess I could see Meg's parents having something to do with it. They obviously are a little crazy and might have seen Meg as a rat for trying to turn them in. Not sure what Mahoney's motivations would be. I don't think Daddy Echols or Logan have anything to do with it. I'm thinking that is a red herring. Maybe Duncan's parents mad about VM ratting them out?

Just watched the ep with the crazy jealous chick again(still getting my mom caught up haha). When Veronica goes to visit Meg in the hospital you get a very brief look at her youngest sister. She looks like she hasnt seen the sun or slept in weeks. At the time you could attribute that all to grief for her sister. But now we know better now we know better dont we? Just great attention to detail.

Finally watched this episode today.
Damm, I wasn't expecting that ending but it was good nonetheless.

The whole situation with Meg's family is screwed up and far from over I hope and as people stated in this thread, what's going on with Gia's brother, mom and dad??? For a moment, I thought Gia's brother was the abused child.

IMHO, Logan still cares for Veronica thus squealing on Duncan about Kendall. And what is exactly up with Duncan btw, there's more than meets the eye with him this season especially as he is seen taking that sealed envelope from Meg's hiding place and his obsession about everything Meg ever since the accident.
