one of the better episodes of this pretty weak season, imo.. i'd probably put it #2 behind The Christ Nail.. loved larry's caution when the sex offender was trying to help him with the newspaper.. and the invitation to the sedar was great.. 'well, you know, you don't have to come..' 'what would jesus do?' rotfl 3 episodes to go.. here's hoping for a strong finish.. |

I thought the 'writing' was confusing...until Larry told Cheryl, I had no idea that HE knew it was the sex offender that he befriended.

I thought it was pretty awful, one of the weakest of an already weak season. The daughter's choking and Susie says, "Does anyone know CPR?" and the offender smiles and says "I do."--?? Just not funny to me...

Funny episode.
But the last joke was a bit of a cheat. The girl needed the Heimlich maneuver, not 'mouth-to-mouth'. |
uteotw: It wasn't CPR, it was "Mouth to Mouth." An important distinction.
sundog: I thought the same thing. FYI, the sex offender was played by Daily Show correspondant Rob Corddry. |

So, (1) It didn't really make sense + (2) even if it did it didn't strike me as the least bit funny. But that's just me. |
So who took Larry's papers? Mine was cut off I think.

How did it give away that it was not the doctor? I thought his paper was there before the DVR cut off. |

Thought it was a decent episode, but certainly not as good as a few others have been this season...although, everything with Rob Corddry was hilarious.

Spoiler:
Also, anyone actually read the Newspaper article? It was just 1 paragraph, repeated over and over ;-) -jason |

Pretty good...preeety good.
|
It was a funny episode, especially where he asks the doctor about if he was having a trouble getting a date now that he was single? The doctor replied, "No, that isn't a problem cause I am a doctor!"
Jeff & Suzies brother in law, "Every 77 years we have a great president, Washington, Lincoln, Roosevelt, and G.W. Bush!" I am a conservative, but I thought that was pretty funny. The sex offender was very funny, but I felt kind of weird laughing because of the subject matter. There still has only been a couple of standout episodes this year though. |
Solid episode. Not great, but didn't suck either.
